I am currently using Office 2007 Pro on an XP Pro system. Access is 2007; Excel is 2007, et al.
I created a database over ten years ago and have been using it since; which would include upgrading 2000 ---> 2003 ---> 2007. No problems. About two years ago now I exported all of the Access tables to a SQL Server 2005 database and have been using it with an Access 2007 front end without problems until today.
I am now getting Linked Table Manager error "Microsoft Office Access does not support linking to an Access database or Microsoft Office Excel workbook saved in a format that is a later version than the current database format."
I am the only one that uses this database and there have been no changes to the front end or back end other than data entry. I have no idea what this error is attempting to tell me in that there are no differences in versions being used and now the db is broken. :banghead:
Any ideas?
TIA
