Oh, I believe it. Sorry no offense but I wouldn't come anywhere near the northeast. Too much of a different world for me. People must like it there though to pay that kind of money to live there.

Trust me, TX is very high, they do it to make up for the income tax.

According to https://www.rocketmortgage.com/learn/property-taxes-by-state , TX is actually right by CT in the list (you're in CT right?), although CT is a bit higher.

Thankfully I'm back in AZ now where they are 'normal' (to me), although now real estate is shooting sky high, but that's the effect of tons of people moving here I suppose.

On the face of it you think, well ok, not for me but why not?

Well, currently some countries do not accept "gay" as a legitimate gender, and I'd hate to see what they think about the other varieties of gender pronouns!

There are currently 69 countries with anti-gay laws on the books. A remarkable number of them are Islamic (no surprise there) or largely. black including several countries in the Caribbean (that surprised me). 36 of the countries are part of the Commonwealth. I guess that's a legacy of the UK's occupation of Africa and Asia and the Caribbean. So if you like the Caribbean or want to travel to Africa, you should probably stick to male or female Islamic countries are not significant tourist destinations except maybe Egypt and Morocco and Singapore.
