I built an application using Access 2016. The version is: 2016 MSO 16.0.11029.20045 32-bit.

I installed it on a client's machine which is running Access for Office 365 MSO (16.0.11029.20045) 32-bit

I had to reconnect some linked tables and noticed the Linked table manager on the client's machine looks quite different than mine.

Mine looks like this:
LinkedTableMgrOld.jpg

And the client's looks like this:
LinkedTableMgrNew.jpg

I realize the client is running Office 365, but since the Access version is the same I would think Access itself would be identical to mine.

It isn't a big deal, but the "new" table manager won't display accde files when browsing. If you want to link to tables in an accde file, you have to manually type the filename.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi,

Yes, Microsoft acknowledge that this is a bug and promised to fix it (don't know when though).

Wow, I didn't know that. I did some googling before posting my question but I must not have looked hard enough.

Thanks for the reply
