Just a brief rant at how Outlook for Android decides to try to be cute, and alter the Sender information on emails I sent to myself, labelling them "Note to Self" rather than properly showing the sender as it should.

This reeks of some individual programmer trying to be funny or cute - instilling their own personality into something that should have been by-the-book and nobody wanted elsewise.

I have Power Automate Flows that sometimes generate an email to me, and they are important and official (to me and my process) - and "Note to Self" makes them look childishly trivial. They are not just a note to self, they are an official email! Really dumb IMO. /rant

It does 'To You' for me?

I can't take a screenshot because my admin has disabled it for that work app but yeah it's cute huh

Definitely an Android thing. On my PC, all is normal. Real cute...doesn't bother me, but then I am not you!

Are you saying the hand-swipe wont work?

Try @arnelgp's utility as it is in Access.

What does that mean specifically? I'm only aware of two ways to take a screenshot on my pixel. Using the rightmost button out of the bottom three buttons, or pressing the power and the down volume at the same time which takes a totally black blank screenshot because it's disabled

On my Samsung I have an overlay that allows screeshots, power control and a few others, however this is a personal phone.
Arnelgp's utility is for Windows.

Didn't realize you were using a Pixel. When I see "Android" I think Samsung. On a Samsung, you use the "knife" edge of your hand and swipe right to left. The phone makes the shutter sound that cameras used to make.

An overlay? Like an invisible screen?
Yes, but transparent.
I have it on top of any screen. It has 4 rounded square icons on it in a circle.
Gives me Volume, Power Off menu, Screen Control, Menu Settings and Screenshots. The latter is the only one I use.
In accessibilty settings. Assistant Menu.

Ah, that's cool. my son has samsung, but i got a pixel and really like it - it's "just" a 6A but by far the best phone i've ever had , and google keeps updating it with wicked cool features that surprise me how sophisticated they are! the 'settings' app is now a billion-forked path with too much to even digest.

Swipe left with edge of hand does not work on my Samsung A12 ?

Strange. Lay the edge of your hand on the right side of the phone and swipe like you are wiping the screen...you mist have "palm swipe capture" enabled as well

For some reason I am unable to post a pic from the screen capture with any text on initial post. Have to edit and then paste.
