I've got a database that someone else wrote and put security on.

Now the database when you open it doesnt have any tool bars or options to change it in to design view etc. It needs access but is other wise a stand alone program.

How can I make it so that I can change the database in to an unsecured database. Where I can view what i want change what i want etc??? As if it was just created or still in the design phase.

the problem is that when clicking on one of the buttons it comes up with an error saying cant find the object might be misspelt etc. then a box with:
action failed.
Marco Name: ProcessDebtFigures
Condition: True
Action Name: DeleteObject
Arguments: Table, Monthly Payment

So I need to find out why it cant find this. TO do this I need to get at the database which I cant do thanks to the security.

That kind of depends on the type of security that is installed. I think there has been something mentioned here before abouting accessing a password protected DB......so do a seach.

However if all that is wrong is that when you open the DB you access a switchboard or something similar just hold the "shift key" when you are opening the DB file.
