Maybe, if you clarify why you wish to split the database maybe we'll have more ideas.
For now, you can't split because you have nothing to split.

First of all thanks for the answer.

The reason is because we will used the same database more than 1 person.
I want to check if it is better than change it to MDE. (If a change the database in MDE in the locked record take much longer than usually)

Have you actually imported the data or are you simply linked to it?

you say you have imported the data - which I interpret as having copied the data into your db.

But you also say when you try to split the db it says there is no table - which implies that your table is linked (via odbc to the mySQL db)

If your data is linked, then to all intents and purposes, your db is already split.

@CJ, this quotes are from the first post.
When i'm try to split my database they said that there is no table in this database
From that I understand that vagelisr use a FE with linked tables.
I post that only because he (vagelisr) don't understand your question.

Ups. No. Can't be linked tables in both.
Only in the FEs (Access) you have linked tables.
The BE contain really (physical) tables.

FE = Front End database (the interface)
BE = Back End database (contain, or should contain, only the tables)

I think that is some misunderstanding here.
Usually, to split a database means what I say (post #9): to create 2 parts FE and BE.
Then the FE can be multiplied either using Save As, either with copy/Paste under Windows.

What mean "to split" for you ? What you wish to achieve ?
