What with the Canadian government attacking Jordan Peterson's right to speak freely, and now the Irish government bringing in a law, basically an open ended "hate speech law" in which the government can just state that what you said was hate speech and lock you up!

Have a listen to this interview between Elon Musk and @Ben_Scallan of @griptMedia

Elon Musk REFUSES to accept New Law!!

“Leave the farmers alone”: In an exclusive interview with
@Ben_Scallan
, Elon Musk has said that the Irish government’s plan to cut 200,000 cattle nationwide will have “zero” impact on the climate, and bets $1 billion that the impact would “not even be measurable.”

And that's a big reason if not the biggest reason why I'm a conservative. All this nonsense about hate speech can be used so that people don't have the freedom to speak their opinion or even have an opinion or teach their children an opinion or anything else

why the hell do you keep posting all these dumb youtube videos tony!? It gets real annoying, maybe not just to me.

At least Tony isn't posting dozens of lines from the Quran.

The more you complain Adam, the more I am likely to post because I just love the chance to wind you up!

Seems that the Canada is still attempting to suppress free speech. Also see: Canadian Truckers Inflame the "Deep State".
Commenting on the arrest, Professor Jordan Peterson — one of Canada’s most prominent public intellectuals — wrote: “Wake up Canadians. The police are now being used directly as political agents of the state. I don’t know who ordered this but it’s not acceptable. (Emphasis added)

Tommy Robinson is a crackpot. His USP is dreaming up pure drivel and crazy ideas, simply for something different to say.
With Tommy Rot and his free speech nonsense you cannot believe that some dope is paying him to say it.
Canada is welcome to to keep him.

@Cotswold - the point is that his right to say whatever he wants does not impede your right to ignore him. There are a lot of loons out there.

He follows the same business plan as has been suggested some social movements and charities do.
Apparently, he has trousered millions from donations and not paid any tax. Living in Spain most of the time with his mates.
A bit like the Not For Profit organisations. They are alleged to have benefits, like not needing to pay tax on profits and often given government grants. That way if they need to get rid of profits, all they need to do, it has been suggested, is increase salaries, buy a few jets, cars and houses. The NFPs never go bankrupt. Good work if you can get it.

I asked Grok the AI on X

I asked how much is Tommy Robinson worth and this is the response:-

Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has been reported to have a net worth that varies significantly based on different sources:

  • Recent Estimates: As of 2024, some sources suggest his net worth could be around $1.5 million, though this figure might be outdated or speculative given the fluctuating nature of his financial situation due to legal battles and public life.
  • Donations and Sponsorships: Over the years, Robinson has received over £2 million in donations and sponsorships, with a significant portion coming from foreign sources. This includes funding from American billionaire Robert J. Shillman for his fellowship at Rebel News, where he reportedly earned over $6,000 (£5,000) per month at one point.
  • Bankruptcy and Legal Issues: Despite his earnings, Robinson declared bankruptcy in 2021 after losing a defamation case where he was ordered to pay £100,000. However, reports indicate he still manages to earn from his activities, suggesting his financial situation might not reflect a typical bankruptcy.
  • Lifestyle and Assets: There have been mentions of him living in properties worth significant sums, like a €1.6 million villa in Spain, and enjoying holidays in luxury settings, which might suggest a wealthier lifestyle than what might be assumed from his public financial troubles.
  • Public Perception and Controversy: His wealth has been a point of contention, with some X posts and articles suggesting he lives off wealthy backers and supporters, potentially under the radar of tax authorities for how these funds are managed.

Given these points:

  • Net Worth Variability: The exact net worth of Tommy Robinson in 2024 might not be publicly disclosed with precision due to his legal and financial maneuvers, but it's clear he has access to significant funds through various means, including international support, book sales, and property investments.
  • Public and Media Speculation: There's considerable speculation and reporting on his wealth, often fueled by his lifestyle choices and the nature of his income sources, which include donations, sponsorships, and possibly undisclosed earnings.

In summary, while Tommy Robinson's net worth might officially be around $1.5 million or more, his actual financial situation could be more complex due to his international support, legal battles, and the nature of his income which might not always be transparently reported.

Free-speech has not yet been totally suppressed. Regretfully, the mere fact that she was arrested demonstrates that free-speech continues to be attacked.
A British woman formerly arrested for silently praying outside an abortion facility has received a £13,000 (approximately $17,000 USD) payout from the West Midlands Police in Birmingham, England, after filing a claim accusing them of false imprisonment, assault and wrongful arrest.

In the US we should continue to be very concerned as the Democratic party continues to chip away at the right to free-speech claiming that "misinformation" and "hate speech" are not covered. Democrats are very open-ended concerning what qualifies as "misinformation" and "hate speech". Basically anything that the Democratic party does not approve of.
According to Walz: "There's No Guarantee to Free Speech on Misinformation or Hate Speech, and Especially Around Our Democracy"

Do you read these articles you post?

Last line of the story:
Meaning the opinion of the article author is just that.
Did you expect it to become the final word?? Do YOU even read what you post?

Drip by drip we learn that the Biden administration has been strong arming the media  or translation -->> that the media was actually complicit in suppressing free speech and misleading the public. This story is also a significant extension of the thread: Election Do-Over!!! from the perspective that the public was duped, leading to a "rigged" election that can't be undone. A case of the cheaters winning and getting away with it.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted in a letter on Monday that his company, Facebook, was pressured by the Biden-Harris administration to censor Americans, particularly regarding COVID-19 content.
He told Jordan that in 2021, "senior officials" from the Biden administration and White House "repeatedly pressured our teams for months to censor certain COVID-19 content, including humor and satire."

When Facebook did not agree with the censorship, Zuckerberg said, the Biden administration expressed a lot of frustration.

"Ultimately, it was our decision whether or not to take content down, and we own our decisions, including COVID-19-related changes we made to our enforcement in the wake of this pressure," Zuckerberg wrote. "I believe the government pressure was wrong, and I regret that we were not more outspoken about it.
Now of course those responsible for misleading the public (rigging the election) (with crocodile tears) sanctimoniously proclaim that they "regret" what happened. Well, as a make-up, Zukerberg and others (as a matter of contrition) should simply endorse Trump while issuing a public acknowledgement to all registered voters that they were wrong.
