I tried to add record in the query via a combo box, but a message 'The recordset is not updatable' appeared. I am puzzled as I can update the record in the table but not in query.

For example, in FunctionBookingDates query, first try to click on a department name in Department field. It must be something really simple but the Microsoft website on Access is not much help.

I am trying to create a form where you first type in the dates of your bookings, and those dates are feed into another form, the actual booking details. This saves having to type several dates in the booking details form.

Please help!

Paul

If you are pulling data from more than one table trhough a query this will happen.

In the Form properties find the Property about Recordsets being Dynasets, and change it ot Dynaset(inconsistent)

I believe its Inconsistent, Its the one with the ()'s

Hope that helps
