I inherited a database and am trying to view the code that is behind the buttons on the MainForm. No luck, even when I open the database directly, from the mdb bypassing the mdw attached to it.

Next, I tried to create a new database and suck the contents in. Get a message that I don't have the necessary permisions to use the database. Is there a way around this?

If you are using mdb/mde then it sounds like user level security has been invoked so you need to somehow get in and up your access rights to admin level. Regret it is many years since I have used it and cannot remember how this is done.

You can try finding a company that can hack it but I have no idea whether or not they work or what they charge
