Only the other week we had a rapist that was to be deported back to Jamaka. So he claimed he was bisexual and if sent home, would be attacked by gangs.
No proof was needed on his part, even though no evidence of bisexual tendencies apparently. His innocence revolved around his claim that he didn't know it was ra** because she was sleeping. So if anyone can make any sense of any of it I have no idea. You just despair at ever obtaining justice with the courts today. However, say something that someone else doesn't like and you'll be behind bars in days.

A bit ironic that although MeToo did achieve some substantial changes in the way sex crimes were investigated and prosecuted, Yet, on the flip side of that, there seems to be a new category of 'excuses' for sex crimes and if you fall in that elite category, you get handled with kid gloves, like this,
