Virtual Reality Headsets - worth the money? (1 Viewer)

The birds around her, pick up whatever is in them and drop it on the floor. :)

Hovered over the house at 400 feet and recorded the sunset. Condensed the 3 minutes down to 21 seconds.

I wonder which games appeal to the Cows!

Chatty said:- "MooFit"

For an exercise app, the cow could enjoy "MooFit", a virtual workout experience tailored to bovine needs. The app could feature fun exercises like:

1. Pasture Dash:
A virtual sprinting exercise where the cow races across fields, avoiding obstacles like fences and puddles, aiming for speed and agility.

2. Hay Bale Lifting:
Strength training where the cow virtually lifts and stacks hay bales, building up leg and core muscles.

3. Cow Yoga:
Relaxing stretches and poses, designed to keep the cow flexible and calm, maybe with poses like "Downward Cow" or "Milking Stance."

4. Stampede Sprint Challenge:
High-intensity interval training (HIIT) where the cow practices quick bursts of running, simulating a stampede through various terrains.

5. Tail Flick Reflex:
Quick response exercises where the cow has to flick its tail to swat away flies or dodge incoming hay bales, improving its reflexes and reaction time.

It would give the cow a complete fitness regimen while having some fun!

Good article.

I won the "Best Father of a Girlfriend" award this Xmas. Gave the daughters Boyfriend a quest 3 for Christmas.

I saw this article and it reminded me that Jon is using virtual reality as an exercise medium!

I agree with the article that it has reached a tipping point. But I have not tried it for work related stuff.

Over the Christmas period, I bought Thrill of the Fight 2 preview. TOTF1 was hugely popular, where you fight against the AI. It was amazing exercise and great fun. Many years later, they now have TOTF2 preview. It is raw, but still very playable. The big difference is that you can now fight online opponents instead of AI. This makes it a gamechanger. Everybody has their own style of boxing and it is very challenging. My heart rate goes up to 165bpm, which means I am getting a HIIT style workout.

Looks like fun without the bruising. Wonder if there will be a mixed reality version so you can fight in your living room. 🤕

Christmas is a tough time in my golf+ game. There are so many newbies that got a quest for x-mas. They suck at it and jump right into the higher level play. Luckily I have 30+ friends I regularly play with so we set up private games that only friends can join.

Recently we played with a guy who's wife was in labor with their 3rd kid. He brought his quest to the hospital and we played 2 rounds while he was waiting. We're waiting to play him again to see what they had.

It was only about £6 because it is a preview. They already have a mixed reality mode, so I believe.

See here: Mixed Reality Mode

Hah, I hope they had a private room when he was playing in the hospital.

The MR looks wicked cool.
All the dogs make me nervous. I once was hitting a tee shot and hit my Yellow Lab so hard it took her off her feet.

Yeah, I thought it looked a bit dodgy with the dogs. But then again, he is in mixed reality mode so at least he can see them. But not ideal.
