Hi all,
Somehow I have managed to muck up Acess and the Ribbon.
I have lost the ribbon

If I click on Query Design I get the ribbon back, but that then obscures the query window?
Tried to get a pic of that, but it disappears when I try the snipping tool

Cannot even get it with a PrintScreen. :(

Tried
DoCmd.ShowToolbar "Ribbon", acToolbarYes and that did not make any difference?

Edit: OK, somehow I managed to unpin it. :(
Spotted that at the far right. Not even sure how I 'unpinned' it. :(

Once the menu is down, look for a V-shaped symbol on the far right side.

Colin,
Is that a right click on the ribbon? as all I get is Customize or Collapse.
.@AccessBlaster I do not get that, but a pin symbol, so I pinned it and back as normal.
When it is pinned, I get the opposite symbol.

The ribbon is expanded by clicking any menu item. Double clicking collapses it again.
In older versions you have the pin option as you discovered but that no longer exists in 365

The ribbon / QAT functionality was changed a couple of years ago so presumably 2019 still has the older style version
This is the right click menu from A2010

Thank you. I only ever use Ctrl + G, Alt + F11.
I will have to lookup keyboard shortcuts.
Did that work? It's useful on a laptop, where the ribbon just takes up so much screen real estate.
