Kraj left? :( That's a shame. His tutorial on normalisation was very helpful to me when I was starting out.

And yeah, time for me to bow out I think. We've long left the more interesting fields of objective logic and science and are venturing into outright opinion and counter-opinion.

Yep. Missed by me most definitely.

Keeping your genius to yourself then?

" especially as you seem to be on a roll at the moment." - I don't know what you mean there either???

Precisely - what reasonably would you expect them to do? Works all ways.

As I say if you pick certain facts and ignore others you can illustate any perverted view you want, which as usual you have done perfectly.:p

Which facts have I ignored?

Sales is not necessarily about selling products. By the way, good salesmen or saleswomen don't don't convince people to buy a product. They strongly establish a need.......

Yeah like all the commission driven salespeople in the US that mis-sold so many mortgages to Americans that the world has gone into recession because of it. Let's all believe!

Good to see a discussion about God has turned into a discussion about capitalism...

An Aussie brought salesmen into the equation with his claim that since most of them believed in fairy tales they were therefore somehow superior to athiests...................

But you must surely have ideas on how life started. I would be staggered to think someone who was an evolutionist could park the first building block out of sight.

You said there is an overwhelming lack of evidence to support a supernatural so I assume you must have something for an idea/theory?

Mike,
I have read about current research that hypothesizes about the possible origins of life, but I don't want to bring that into this discussion because there is not enough evidence at this point to elevate any of those hypotheses to the level of a theory. Suffice it to say, I am perfectly content with my position that I have stated before, that there simply is no answer yet, and there may never be.
I think your discomfort with the possibility that there is no answer rivals my discomfort with the idea that there are supernatural forces in the world.:)

I'm actually quite amazed at the apparent (with the help of Google) knowlege of the USA posters on this thread.

It's generally accepted that their education system doesn't stray beyond the USA's borders.

It's almost as if some US posters may even know where Europe actually is.

The facts that I'm supposedly missing, I just gave you an instance

I still have no idea what you are talking about.

Like birth control?

Is that a fact? Seems more like a question. Have you a fact you ignored about birth control? I do hope its one I haven't heard before, is it of much relevence, to either the thread in general, or your own posts. Perhaps you are just throwing them in for fun.

If they were good at the selling then what I said holds, whether the product is good, bad or different.

I have no such discomfort as I know the answer.
