This is an interesting read mainly because of all the anti-gun lobbying done on this website. Most of you on here portray the US gun owner as a blood thirsty inbred because we like our right to own guns. You think most of us go out of our way to shoot somebody. Well I would rather live here than in Guatemala.

They not only use guns but knifes too.
"We have a saying: If you don't pay, we won't hurt the father, sadly, it's the children who'll pay," Flaco says. "We send them a letter. Then we surveil their kids. We ask for $5,000 to $13,000, depending on the kind of business he's in. If he doesn't pay, we kidnap his wife or a child, and we kill them. Then we send him body parts showing him we mean business, and we keep kidnapping family members until he pays."

Moral of the story? Guns don't kill people. Knifes don't kill people - people kill people.

People kill people, right. I think you'd have to admit though that people with guns are typically the most efficient at it.

No, bombs and setting a fire are the best.

We are about to have a gun amnesty in Sydney Australia, prompted by the recent drive by shootings and fueld by the feverish let wing media. I can just see the arabs fronting up to the police station:D

I always liked this one best ...

FIREARMS REFRESHER COURSE

1. An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject.
2. A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone.
3. Colt: The original point and click interface.
4. Gun control is not about guns; it's about control.
5. If guns are outlawed, can we use swords?
6. If guns cause crime, then pencils cause misspelled words.
7. "Free" men do not ask permission to bear arms.
8. If you don't know your rights you don't have any.
9. Those who trade liberty for security have neither.
10. The United States Constitution (c) 1791. All Rights reserved.
11. What part of "shall not be infringed" do you not understand?
12. The Second Amendment is in place in case the politicians ignore the others.
13. 64,999,987 firearms owners killed no one yesterday.
14. Guns only have two enemies: rust and politicians.
15. Know guns, know peace, know safety. No guns, no peace, no safety.
16. You don't shoot to kill; you shoot to stay alive.
17. 911-government sponsored Dial-a-Prayer.
18. Assault is a behavior, not a device.
19. Criminals love gun control -- it makes their jobs safer.
20. If guns cause crime, then matches cause arson.
21. Only a government that is afraid of its citizens tries to control them.
22. You only have the rights you are willing to fight for.
23. Enforce the "gun control laws" we ALREADY have, don't make more.
24. When you remove the people's right to bear arms, you create slaves.
25. The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control.
26. "A government of the people, by the people, for the people..."

Bombs don't kill people - people kill people. Why can't I own bombs?

25. The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control.

Given the way the USA treats the world this seems like the definitive argument for gun control.

Then why did America insist that the Germans and Japs surrendered theirs?

For now - probably

Considering terrorists already hold Spain hostage and France is already 20% Muslim it is just a matter of time for everyone else. If we convert over and fall prey to political correctness - good luck to the rest of the world.

Unless you're in an "American" occupied zone, in which case you become an enemy of the great "land of the free" American state

Never heard of practising what you preach:rolleyes:

Remember that for when you start living in fear of your government. We simply like to hold onto our arms if we feel the need to correct ours with extreme prejudice. Until either occurs, there is no comment.

The words American and paranoia spring to mind and go together like a horse and carriage

For what purpose?

Because he might want to.

If demonstrating a "need" had to be the basis of someone being allowed to own something then the world as we know it would dramatically change.

I bet there were Europeans in the 1930s, especially Jews, that would have been thought of as being paranoid.
