datasheet background grid lines (1 Viewer)

Hi ,
In access 2016, grid lines are shown where there are no fields. But in 2003 this section is blank.
Is there a way to make the datasheets look like 2003?

have you tried turning them off in File>Options>Datasheet>Default grid lines?
