Fascinating but all I need to know about gravity is that it stops me falling off this planet and keeps the planet in orbit around the sun.

All these theories require me to believe that these people know what they are talking about or as you might put it to have faith. The different hypotheses and theories about gravity do not change my views on the need for a supenatural being. It seems to me that the unifying features of these theories is that they feel there is a natural/mathematical/physical explanation for gravity (which certainly exists) even if we are not sure yet what it is. Blind faith might suggest one or the other but it is of no relevance to my day to day life which theory is correct provided the theory explains the observable facts.

Do you agree or disagree with Rich as to the cause of gravity.
I have not stated that mass is the cause of gravity so withdraw your statement. From the few posts I have made on gravity I have merely asked for the credentials of one of the links you posted and otherwise stated that real cause is not relevant to my day to day life. Why do you persist in trying to say that I agree with Rich on this. I have not expressed an opinion. I prefer to keep an open mind until I have studied the evidence. What's your problem with this??

I found it strange that you did not question Rich's link.

I prefer to keep an open mind until I have studied the evidence. The second of three three links I posted will give you enormous detail.

I have already looked at the link you posted and said I found it interesting.
Just because I commented on one of your links does not mean I agree with every other link which is posted. I questioned your link because you have been going on about how we need faith to take any of these links as correct. I notice you have not yet provided any reason for me to trust that link. Perhaps you can't.

Now accept that I have not stated the gravity is caused by Mass. This is a Newtonian view and has been overtaken by Relativity. I am sure we have not heard the last word from Physicists on gravity yet. Lets face it there is stil largument as to what give an object Mass. perhaps the experiments to be run at CERN may provide some illumination.

I notice you have not yet provided any reason for me to trust that link. Perhaps you can't.

Of course I can't. The only thing I can do is observe that the scientific type articles claim mass is not the cause of gravity. Thus, I have faith that mass is not the cause of gravity. Whatever research I do in this area will always end in me having to have faith in what I read or am told.

Ah, so there is a correlation with mass, well it took a few hours but at last

There is a correlation between the the amount of meat and the size of the parcel from the butcher.

The cause of gravity is not known.
