Firstly, apologies, I am probably guilty of signing up just to try to solve my specific query but I look on this forum with anticipation someone can help. This isn't a programming issue and I'm not a developer.

I represent a service desk and our users have hit a problem that seems hard to solve. They are using Runtime 2000 and since having their Office upgraded from 2000 to 2003 the right click context menus, in fields, has stopped working. I appreciate the software is all getting on now but that's what we've got.

Any help greatly appreciated.

PS. Have spent some time searching, nothing seems to match this scenario though.

Just an update to this (although the silence is a bit worrying):

Office 2003 is the Standard version which doesn't include Access. When the version was Office 2000 Standard without Access, the context menus were present.

The runtime version of access is a stripped down version that does not offer any of the usual menu options. The developer has to build [VBA or macros] any functionality that they want the user to be able to perform within their custom access application.

Running in Runtime vs. Full Access 2003
Access 2003 Runtime is, in essence, Microsoft Access 2003, but with a few key features disabled. A user with Access 2003 Runtime installed instead of full Access can open and run an Access application (either an MDB file or, with a few extra steps, a SQL Server back-end database) but does not see the Database Window and cannot switch the view of any Access object to Design view.

The following features are not included as part of Access 2003 Runtime without additional customization:

The Database window
Title bar text/icon (can be specified by the MDB instead of by Access)
Some menu items, such as Open and Save in the File menu, and the entire View, Format, and Tools menus
Shortcut menus
Built-in toolbars
Access Help
Designers (including Filter by Form)
VBA editor

Thanks for the reply. What's mystifying us is the fact that Access 2000 Runtime + Office 2000 Standard gives us the context menus but as soon as Office is upgraded to 2003 Standard that functionality goes.
