Field Not Staying

Hi,

I've created a db for a bibliography list. At one section I have a pull-down menu with different types of resources (ie: book, journal article, magazine, etc.) that will dynamically show/hide options that are relevent for each.

However, when creating a new entry, the field in the pull-down menu is not remembered. I've attached a copy of my db, it's quite simple. Any help is greatly appreciated!

For Access to "remember" the value, get your form in design
view and for the property of the combo-box, make its
"control-source" equal to the appropriate field in your table.
