Hello. I want to format particular fields in a textbox. The textbox contains a paragraph, which includes a person's name. For example:

"Dear [NAME], you may have won a million dollars!"

I want the name to be in a different font. Is there a way to do this.

Note that I can't break it up into different text boxes. It has to be all in one textbox, so the paragraph flows properly.

I appreciate any help.

Wouldn't you typically do something like that in a mail merge? You just embolden the field in the mail merge document.

You cannot format plain text in a plain text Access field. You'd need to use a Rich Text Format control to do that (see my first question/point).

Dear g-

Typically, a mail merge would work, but in this case the letter is too complicated for that - too many different tables and subreports involved.

How do you get "a Rich Text Format control." I don't see your first question/point.

thank you
