Great news for me

A part of this thread includes discussions about the 2020 election. Issues are coming to light regarding irregularities. None of them that I have seen (so far) are proof of criminal wrong-doing, but they begin to show credence to the idea that the 2020 elections were less than pristine. In the long run, that is actually water under the bridge, and it's an ill wind that blows no one any good. Because of the furor over the 2020 elections, the 2024 elections were much more tightly monitored, to the point that there appears to be no major finger-pointing this time. Therefore, there is no doubt that the 2024 elections favored the Republicans significantly.

Given the subsequent behavior of the Cackle Jackal, including her disastrous "pep talk" video where she appeared to be significantly drunk, and in particular watching her toss off $1.5 bn and end up $20 mil in debt, I'm glad for the country. I think this is a situation that will follow Kamala to her grave. I wish her no ill, but I sincerely hope she has learned her lesson. On the other hand, it occurs to me that she could do us good one more time by running for California governor. Newsome is term-limited so someone else will have to run, and she has history in CA. If she ran, the state might actually elect a Republican, which would be a really great thing.

...but I sincerely hope she has learned her lesson.
I blame the DNC (Obama) they knew Joe was a flawed candidate and Kamala was even worse. They were banking on Trump's many lawfare cases to take him down.

They had no contingency plan.

They had no contingency plan.
Exactly, they couldn't have screwed this up if they had a book titled "How to F!@k Up A Free Lunch".

Problem is, instead of evaluating their performance, and I am talking about the voters here, they will double-down on racism and misogyny. It's a game we were set up to play and no one wants to admit that we have been played.

Happy Bidenomics day!

Trump blew up the myth "democrats are for the working class". My hope is JD can keep the boat afloat long enough to cement it into fact.
Just look at how Harris ran her campaign and then treated her staff after the election was over. She blew over $1B and ended up approximately $20M in debt. A portion of that $1B went to rich celebrities who did not need the money. That made the celebrities: 1) mercenaries who did not really believe in Harris and 2) a money laundering operation.

After the election was over, the some campaign staff was unceremoniously fired. Evidently they did not get paid severance and whether they will eventually get paid for their work is unknown as of this post. Nevertheless, the party that claims be be for the "working class" demonstrated extreme callousness.

The Democrats endlessly claim that Republicans are for the rich and against the working class. Yet with this election cycle, Democrats paid the rich to endorse Harris and deprived the campaign workers of money they earned. The campaign workers (the working class), it would seem, were simply peons to be manipulated for the benefit of the elite.

My house is worth -(minus)£36,000! That's what it cost me to 'down-size' from a four bedroom houe in Newark to three bed in Norwich! Which all goes to show that house value is purely subjective.

Valid election??????
California, controversially, allows mail-in ballots to be counted as long as they are postmarked by Election Day and arrive within seven days of Election Day. This means that candidates can come from behind weeks after the election.

Usually, though not always, a Democrat who appears to have lost on Election Day will surge in mail-in ballots and emerge as the victor — as Kamala Harris did in her race for California Attorney General in 2010, a crucial victory.

In addition, the California Globe reported earlier this week that a U.S. Postal Service mailbox in a Republican part of the district had been burglarized. “The entire contents of the box were stolen of mail and ballots,” the Globe reported.

Do you have a link to that disastrous Pep talk video by chance

This one.

The way her voice cracks in a few places COULD be genuine emotion, but there are those on YouTube who refer back to parts of the video to suggest she is drunker than a skunk.
