AUSTRALIAN Not the Americans.

And the Americans did not come to your aid they were dragged into it. Same as in WW1.

Also think of all the wars that Australian came to the Aid of America.

Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan and we will continue to do so.

Wild dingos usually stay well away from humans. The trouble starts when people feed them.

I have lived in the bush for 33 years and never felt I needed a gun for defence against wild animals.

By far the biggest natural dangers here are snakes. Most of the deadliest species in the world are in Australia.

Your gun wouldn't help much in the water especially when the Great White shark appears from nowhere and bites you in half. Not much use against stingers either.

Might be good against a crocodile but you would want to be fast and accurate.

If you are going to try to shoot a snake you would need a special rifle which I can't think what it is called.

Basically it is a small version of a shotgun.

The existing laws may be of some good if they were actually enforced uniformally. It is no wonder when ATF worries about some one with an arsnel in the mountains of Idahoe but do virutally nothing to enforce the laws on the streets of LA. If the existing laws were truely enforced then maybe the homicide rate would go down. Adding more laws that are only followed by law abiding citizens does nothing to reduce the problem.

I would say the mass killings at schools and other locations is more the result of the lack of care and concern for life, along with the glorification of violance and crimi9nal activity.

The Autrailian guns laws do not work or at least according to statistics they do not. Suicides are the same, interesting hangings took the place of guns. murders, violence in general is still the same of larger (with guns). While everyone has to have a reason to have a gun (Genuine reason)only the criminals don't have a permit or license. One good point, Mass Shootings have gone down but what about Mass Killings (bombs, etc.) I think NOT!. GUN CONTROL does NOT work.

Where and when was the last Mass Killings.

I can't recall.
 
The logic of the gun lobbyist being interviewed in the link was devastating, I realised I had nothing more to say on this topic when he said
"If more people have guns more people will be killed by guns"
The interviewer was also speechless for awhile before finally pointing out that that was his point!

You couldn't make it up.

And these are in Australia. The only way to stop bombings i to have a great before - hand intel. In fact, the worst mass killings in USA history was in 1927 at a BATH School in Michigan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bath_School_disaster). But most statistics only count guns. Believe I will keep mine.

I just watched the three Daily Show videos. They make me wonder whether the US attitude is caused by some localized genetic disorder or perhaps something in the groundwater, because logic fails to explain it.
