No. Allen and I were not MVP's at the same time so we never got to the same MVP events but I met Bill Gates a few times. First time was at the bridge table at a large International event in Montreal. I read once that Access was his baby so I asked him about Access. He thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. Then at an Access insider event I was invited to in 2006 to preview A2007 and a few more random bridge tournaments around the country. As he moved out of the direct management role, attention to Access waned. Like anyone famous, he always drew a fair amount of attention but since we were all there to play bridge, he was able to walk around like a normal person for the most part. I actually played a few hands against him and his partner on more than one occasion. One time he was playing with Warren Buffett and the other times with a bridge pro who my partner knew but I didn't. So, you get a few minutes after you're done before they call the next round. He was quite pleasant and Warren is a real charmer
