Democratic hypocrisy. They demand that a president do something. Now that a president is doing something they complain.

I'm very uncertain how I feel about the tariffs at this stage, but I'm willing to give it 6 to 12 months and see how all aspects of the results shake out. That means all aspects of the economy in our country as a whole, not just limited to prices rising or falling on certain products.

Did you want fair trade? How did you think this could happen without Trump having to force people to the table by imposing "reciprocal" tariffs? Did you think Trump would just ask nicely and everyone would willingly give up their advantage? If it weren't for all the naysayers questioning Trump's every move, the world would have caved quietly. But NO, everyone went batshit crazy and so the Chinese think that Trump will have to cave so they have the strength to stand firm. THATs what is causing the chaos. Trump is not caving and so thanks to the Republican naysayers, this trade war will carry on for some time. Thanks.

Trump could have handled it better by not gloating over other countries coming to the table. It would have been wiser to simply point out the benefits of going to a zero tariff trade policy for all nations, but instead, he had to make it more about himself and how smart he is. The Chinese are very prideful people that respond to respect, not threats. If he can just humble himself though this process, we might be able to make a deal. Right now, they are willing to wait for the next election cycle where things can change back in their favor with a much weaker president in charge.

Weak president = :) China
Strong president = :( China

I still cannot get over the last administration allowing a Chinese spy balloon to float over the US as if it was perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. What kind of leader would allow such a thing to happen willingly?

I don't see the connection at all.
When people go crazy because Trump does something they don't understand and they think is stupid because they wouldn't do it - like be nice to potentates in public, usually it is straight out of the Art of war. I'm pretty sure they don't talk about tariffs but I'm sure there is something relevant in there. I haven't read the book in years. Maybe I'll skim it again.

I do agree though. Trump shouldn't be rubbing Xi's nose in it. I think he is trying to get Xi replaced. There doesn't seem to be any other reason for it. He doesn't poke Putin.

It wasn't just one. It was at least three that we know of.

One on the take from China. The Chinese paid the Biden Crime family millions for the treatment they got from his administration. And so did the Ukrainians. Not keeping track of the money/equipment we gave them was downright stupid on our part and the people who should have been watching and didn't should have been fired at a minimum. But, it's really hard for Trump to route out and fire all the incompetents during the first two months.

short memory?

When you get to the part of unnamed officials you can stop reading.

Bloomberg News just published a new article citing numerous unnamed officials who served under President Trump, acknowledging that Chinese spy balloons were indeed spotted during his tenure near Texas, Florida, Hawaii and the territory of Guam.

Maybe

So it's a little different, Trump didn't allow it, but Biden kinda did.

According to General Glen VanHerck (commander of U.S. Northern Command), the previous balloon flights were only identified after the fact, using intelligence analysis tools that weren’t available or used before.

John Bolton and Mark Esper claimed they were never informed about any such balloon activity during their time in office. So while it did happen, it was discovered only later.

It's not what, it's how. He must have been reading the same economics lessons as you. All this breaking of the world economy has one goal. Like everything else the Republicans do.
To raise the cost to the middle class and lower the taxes to the wealthy.

Share croppers being convinced to fight a war so the rich can use slavery to beat them at the market place.

Trump brainwashing efforts convinced people that Biden was the cause of the inflation. That's why the Dems gave him another term.
The Chinese announced they will be stopping exports of rare earth metals. proving that they are considerably more intelligent than Trump and Co.

The moron the White House should have used a better algorithm.

Sun Tzu should be required reading if you want to understand Trump.
Actually it would be better if Trump could actually understand it. He's being outplayed in every arena.
At what point in his descension will you finally abandon your unholy belief in him?

Honestly, you sound like you are discussing a cult or a deep delusion. But your words sound like you are the one who is deluded. Do you fancy yourself to be like John the Baptist, a voice crying out in the wilderness? Or was that passage a reference to Isaiah?

The border is closed, MS-13 is on the run, and inflation is down. He’s brokered the release of two prisoners. Executive orders are through the roof, and he’s made good on most of his election promises.
Inflation was down before he was elected, but in a just a little while, there will be no doubt about Trump ushering in a depression. Old Herbert Hoover must be turning in his grave knowing that Trump is soon going to replace him as the stupidest president in history.

Can you say Stagflation? I think I foretold that 3 or 4 months ago. There is no way you could have started the destruction of the USA and the World economies more than Trump Co is doing.

He wasn't happy just cheating small businesses and conning the people of New York, now he has the whole world to steal from, and the lives of billions of workers to destroy.

You sound like a toddler who didn't get his way.
