Morning,

I recently purchased a new laptop. My new and previous laptops are both 64 bit and installed MA 2010 on both of the computers running win 8.

When I run reports on my new laptop the reports are not formatting. They are reflecting on 4 pages and not on 1 page like on my previous laptop running the same programs.

On my new laptop I installed Office 2013 and old one office 2010 but I used the same Access 2010 on both laptops which is a separate disk as office was not the professional one.

Has anyone got any ideas what is causing this

Thanks in advance

What do you mean by 'reflecting on 4 pages'? Do you mean the report is repeating 4 times? And is it that you have installed 2013 AND 2010 on the new laptop?

I've only had a tiny go on Access 2013, so I'm not sure what the problem would be, but I have no doubt that 2010 reports would work fine in 2013 based on what I've seen so far. Perhaps you could check to make sure all of the report format properties are the same as you had them in the old version? I doubt they would have changed.

The other thing to think about is References. If you are exporting this report to another program, this is 90% likely to be the source of the problem. See your current References under Tools menu in the VBA editor. You need to have the correct references ticked for any program you want to output to. Let me know if you want to know more about this.

I suspect you may not have the correct printer set as your default. try that first.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I had not yet installed my printer so going to try that first.
