I'm now seeing 'Add to <name>'s reputation' as well as Report bad post. What are those and how does it work?

Secondly, how come someone with only one post is on the shows the samething as someone with 10K post. On the distinguished road. However, mine has no qualifers.


Can you explain this system to us further.

I too, am curious how our "beginning" values were assigned and what the scale is. It doesn't mean much to know I'm on a distinguished road if I don't know what the distinguished road is.

Now we have something to hold over each other. Taking away reputation points for pissing each other off. Ohh, lordy mercy. I hope I didn't just give ideas. No Rich, Col, J, and Ken. Behave and no taking away points.

I agree, but from what Jon's test rating looked like, I think the green dots grow in number as your votes grow, so the popup description is more flavor than function. You'll know how useful someone is by the number of dots.

And I'm curious as to how I got 16 points the weekend it was implemented. Maybe Jon likes my style.

Oh, and as far as I'm aware the "Report Bad Post" button has always been there to flag spammers, flamers, ToS violators and such.

Cool. If you do a rep and leave a comment, the user can then see it, but not who sent it in your UserCP. (Unless you tell them who you are in the comment itself...)

That's what I was wondering, but I've seen some that say "on a distinguished road" and others that say "off the scale" and then Selena's said "unknown quantity" and they all had just one dot. So I'm still a little curious and will be glad when he gets a chance to post some further explanations.
