I too, am curious how our "beginning" values were assigned and what the scale is. It doesn't mean much to know I'm on a distinguished road if I don't know what the distinguished road is.
I agree, but from what Jon's test rating looked like, I think the green dots grow in number as your votes grow, so the popup description is more flavor than function.
