G and Doc, I would answer that question with a question:
How do you feel about children's rights in general? We all agree they ought to have some rights, but we almost all agree that some things the parents have ultimate say in. (for example, I don't believe any nation says Johnny has the legal right to wear brown pants if Dad wants him to wear blue pants).
Depending on your answer to #1, I'm curious as to what is the rationale for choosing something as drastic as a sexuality-related act (of ANY kind) being in the "children's rights" category, which are generally limited to, "rights that equate to not being abused or neglected in some way". Wouldn't this topic be, like ... the last thing to go in that category? Parents aren't even barred from telling their children not to get a piercing. And yeah, that's piercings anywhere...
