Trump Administration Predictions (1 Viewer)

If the price of Tesla stock goes down to the right level, I'll be a buyer of that stock for sure.
shouldn't be long. They just recalled all cybertrucks.

The main reason I'll be a buyer of Tesla is that there will be an inevitable jump in battery technology and when the cars can be built at a more reasonable price for the average consumer, they will have a lot more sales. I fully expect the price to go well past the current ATH of 436 in five years. It depends on when the battery tech has it's leap forward. It will happen.

Ukraine is destined to be the big loser though. If anyone in Ukraine can get their hands on some petrol, I'd advise them to get the hell out.
Ukraine was always destined to loose this war. That's what happens when a big bully invades your country and the world's "peace keeping" organization (the UN) is too impotent or unwilling to help you. Biden could have resolved this with far less trauma if he had stepped up when the Russian troops were massing at the border BEFORE they invaded. It's not like Russia's intentions were not perfectly clear from the beginning.

My reasons are similar. If other manufacturers take a good look at what Musk is doing, we could have a revolution in engineering. You know what p****s me off is downright stupid engineering. I once had a car, a Pontiac if I recall, that required the entire front of the car to be disassembled to change a headlight bulb. The bulb was $1.98. The labor charge was $300. Did the engineers forget that lightbulbs need to be replaced when they burn out? Then there was the stand mixer I once had which "required" the two beaters to be inserted into the correct holes to function properly BUT if you hadn't read the fine print in the manual you wouldn't have known this because the beaters could be inserted into either hole. If you got it right, you made whipped cream in your bowl. If you got it wrong, you had drops of whipping cream covering your person as well as the entire kitchen. You had to be there to appreciate this one;) I was still finding tiny hardened drops in strange places a year later.

Musk modularizes everything he can so that upgrades/fixes can be made at the lowest possible cost and with the least disturbance.

They have the right goal in mind. Speeding up the charge time to 5 minutes or less is the key. I'm sure Tesla will get similar battery tech as well but will have a much better overall designed car. I would never buy one of those BYD's no matter the price, but neither will anyone else once the tariffs balance things out.

How about the "I dont know anything about project 2025"
Pretty amazing twisting of words and meanings;) You can make anything sound negative and evil if that is how you think.

And you claim the conservatives are always spewing hate;) Look to home.
Trump said he never heard of the Project 2025 thing, and yet here he is implementing it. How am I spewing hate. Pointing out that Trump is the biggest lier to sit in the White House in our lifetime, does not make me hate. The word you are looking for is pragmatic.

Tariffs on steel and aluminum will have the opposite effect. Additional Tariffs on Mexico and Canada will make housing more expensive and ensure even less vehicles will be bought by former middle class Americans.

@Thales750 Near as I can tell, this isn't a Project 2025 website. It is someone trying to make you think they are Project 2025. You can tell by reading their opinions of what actions the Trump administration is taking and also because moke posted the link.

Project 2025 is an effort by the Heritage Foundation in collaboration with other conservative organizations. It offers suggestions to the Trump administration regarding changes that need to be made to the government. I'm sure that members of the Trump team are aware of the group and probably have read their papers and possibly even passed them on. But, if Trump said he was not aware of the group at the time he was asked, I have no reason to not believe him. It would be a silly thing to lie about. By this time, it is quite likely that Trump would answer the question differently given the negative publicity the group got during the 2024 campaign which dramatically raised its profile. I had never heard of them until the left started calling them Nazis and Fascists as they call all people/groups with which they disagree.

Their website is Project2025.org. There is a spoof at Project2025.com and the link posted by moke is Project2025.Observer

Yes pat, it is tracking which sections of project 2025 has been implemented.
I'm sure that members of the Trump team are aware of the group
You do know that many of his cabinet, etc., are the ones that wrote project 2025, don't you?
There were 144 of former trump employees involved.

And this is a problem, why? I actually think a lot of their proposals are what the government needs to get back to being "for the people". Currently, "of the people" is the only part that is true. "By the people" hasn't been true since politics became a career path and a college major and people now don't "serve" and go home. They find a way to join the NGO money train and become multi-millionaires.

We really need to get back to the original concept of a citizen Congress. You know, people who will be governed themselves by the laws they pass. As it is, when they pass bad laws like Obamacare, they exempt them selves. And it is really hard to enrich yourself by insider trading if the pesky laws apply to you.

I have to admit, the NGO scam never occurred to me.
