I was speaking in the abstract, not the specific.

What Ukraine can do to Russia is the other side of that barbarian situation. If you can't beat the barbarians, then what do you do next? Martyr yourself, relocate, or surrender?

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has reminded us of the uselessness of the UN, just in case we didn't already know it is useless. There are numerous small/large "wars" going on as we speak between UN members and the UN is impotent or too corrupt to intervene successfully.
