While I believe people other than Trump have the best chance at beating the Dem's in 2024, yet, after I ponder it, I do sometimes wonder if the liberals almost NEED someone like Trump to be president for another 4-8 years just to hammer the point home - that we don't want your wild, crazy, socialist, lazy, irresponsible tenets to become society's bedrock and we're soundly rejecting it. So soundly that we'd rather have a president who has some obvious character defects but will powerfully enforce it.
But no, after more thought, there is probably no chance they would get the point. All that would do is entrench them in their self-deception that "they must be all racist meanies".
We need someone like DeSantis, or better Vivek, who they cannot plausibly label racist.
I read an article the other day that was essentially trying to figure out a way to wordsmith the general idea that there is something 'weird' about Ron and Casey's marriage because they are so devoted to each other, and private in their marriage (in other words normal).
Liberals absolutely cannot STAND loving, traditional families that are devoted to each other and it shows in their long-term stability and happiness. (Remember how they savaged Chris Pratt for posting an adorable thing about his wife?? They have very strange reactions to real 'love', while clamoring on and on about 'love' but only in the context of sexual fetishes and sex in general).
Add, as the cherry on top, that Ron's wife is a bit...gorgeous...and it really ruffles their feathers. Or so it would seem to me after observing how they pile on in opposition to all nice looking female conservatives.
