US leaders

All of the idle hate you care to muster in this forum is blown like a fart in the wind and you'll have nothing for your efforts. On the other hand, if you try understand why some of our leaders have inflated egos, as some of us here are trying to do, by getting to know us and being friendly and having constructive dialogs, perhaps that too will be blown in the wind... And that's not much fun anyway. Never mind blast away at us :)

You said you were staying out of the 'cooler:confused: what happened? can't resist it?

I'll take your non-answer to my question as a yes then. I shall add 'caustic' to my list.

Kenneth why can't you accept that we have such a deep love and affection for the American peoples that we simply want to help save you?

Silly me, I guess we should count our blessings. :p

No it's just your hatred of the Japanese that's left you blind to the facts:rolleyes:

What facts have I missed?

I would be real interested to hear how it was America's fault that the japs bombed Pearl Harbour.

It's based on the same premise that the Yanks only reason for dropping the bomb was to scare Russia

why dont we give other people a big chance? i mean we wouldnt know if Clinton or Obama has to do with the government once they won. we will just hope it would be a good outcome. let's not judge people right then and there.

And there's blessings galore to count in the USA - what with god being a Yank and all.

Why? If people put themselves up for a knocking - i.e. they'll never win what ever they do. May as well start knocking them as soon as they put their head above the trench.

It's a national pastime in the UK. A nation of knockers - and there's quite a few in Essex I can tell you.

(And when you gig some one else on spelling be sure you get your stuff right i.e. ‘distingushing’ ? )
No idea what 'gig' means, in this context, but I'll assume it means pointing out the errors. I think you'll find that my spelling is usually pretty accurate, if not on that occasion.

Certainly, if I were to to spend as much time as I imagine it took Mr Patriot to create a flag-waving, god-fearin', support-the-war-or-you're-unamerican slideshow, I'd have at least double-checked the spelling before posting it. Especially if it included a ridiculous statement about keeping god in schools.

So he made 2 errors and you made 1. Maybe you should 'Worry less' about his ability to spell and worry more about yours :)

And I still haven't seen anything regarding his
...ability to distinguish between foreign countries
???

I counted misspelling the same word twice as two separate errors, making a total of three (and I wasn't overly worried ;)). The whole thing about religion in schools just bugs me considerably.

I did, so we'll have to agree to differ on this one.

Actually I kind of agree with you on that one. I wouldn't want my kids going to a school where they did Buddha or Muslim stuff :)

I figure either you have to teach ALL religions, or you have to PROVE that one is the correct one for the kids to be learning. Since the latter isn't possible and the former isn't practical, I'd just avoid the whole thing.

Any god in fact:rolleyes:

Not so much... If a school simply wanted to have a public prayer before a football game and no one affiliated with that school was against it then the government should keep their nose out of it.

Would the children get asked if they wanted to join in? or how about if they wanted to say pass a joint around, should the authorities still keep their nose out?

Only if the school was in a liberal decline... :)

But doesn't preaching in schools go against the constitution, like Bush too?

I think England should just start a war with America. One thing that would achieve is to demonstrate their loss in that war in the 1700s with America was not a fluke.

Remind me again in say the last 100yrs or so which war has the US won without us on its side:confused::rolleyes:
