    Access 2019

I purchased Access 2019, with Office 2019. All my Access 2007 Db's, except one, work ok. When I open the problem Db I get a message "Missing or broken Reference to file MSCAL.OCX v7, Fix the reverence". Then Access opens up just about all vBasic tabs, which makes my job of finding the problem...

    Access 2007 Field List?

Thanks guys but I am familiar with what you are saying but the feature I am looking for was a combo that used to reside in the top left of the window (Of the Form,in Design View, not the property window) where we could just click the small combo arrow "thingie" & see a list of all fields, labels...

    Converting 2003 db to 07

    Converting 2003 db to 07

I have been trying to convert two dbs from 2003 to 2007, after successfully converting several other dbs. Office 2007 gives the following message; "db already opened by 'Admin' on machine <name>. try again when application available." That might not be the exact wording but it's close enough...

    Y2K or not?

Thanks for the quick reply, but unfortunately your suggestion still gives an incorrect date, only now in 1905. I was thinking about trying to use the start of the current century as a default if I can figure how to do that, any ideas there?

    going from Access97 to Access2007

Great, for a user with limited access skills 2007 is a learning curve that makes my life difficult when I try to open my old 2003 db's & edit anything. So far I haven't found anything that has helped in any way or saved me time. In fact just the reverse, I've spent lots of time trying to figure...

Pbaldy Great, thank you for your advice. It's difficult for me when I only get access to his computer once or twice per week at best. Right now I haven't got the courage to upgrade to 2007 myself, I've got too much back in 2003 to risk :eek:but as time goes by I might change my mind.
