Solved Access not displaying properly

This is what the DB window should look like. You are missing 3 lines before the table name

That's only because I didn't check the option below

Please can you confirm that you have all these options ticked

Also to repeat my earlier question from post #20 which I think was overlooked...
When you open an existing database, do you see a horizontal or vertical scrollbar as in my screenshot from post #3

I cannot get to an immediate window unless there is a DB Window showing!

Sorry but that's not tue. Click Tools...Macro...Visual Basic Editor

OK, I can get to the immediate window via Click Tools...Macro...Visual Basic Editor.

But I lost the Docmd. Please resend it to me

I do have all the tick marks checked on the Startup screen

It is in the link?

Does Alt+F11 not work in 2003 or ctrl+G ?

I just tried the DoCmd.

Hmm, if you cannot do it, then the system also cannot. :(

I am out of ideas, sorry.
I might try a sc /scannow on a windows command line, as it appears something seriously wrong with your computer.
I would even try removing Office and resinstalling, and I have already suggested that on the other site.

sc /scannow === run as admin. Get a form "Do you want this app to make changes" (paraphrase).

I get a flash. See a dos window for less than a second. Then it goes away.

Sorry typo.
Sfc /scanow

Yes open an admin command window.

No. :(
You open a dos command window with admin rights.
Then you type in the command and it's parameter.
Then let it run.
It will come back and tell you if it fixed anything or could not.

No, i just cannot type on this phone. :(

Try again. It even shows you that option in the display. :(

Third attempt :(

Sfc /scannow

Have you tried reinstalling Access?

Have you tried upgrading to O365? That would be the wise choice since Windows 10 no longer supports A2003. The cost is ~$99 per year for 6 installs so the whole family can use it or you can use it on several computers as well as your phone. But not Access. Access only runs on the desktop.

I have a 13th century cell phone. Only talking, as a phone should be.
I don't know if VB6 is compatible with O365.
I cannot use VB.net - I don't understand it.

Why on earth do you mention VB.net? Totally irrelevant.

I'll ask for the third time just in case I'm lucky enough to get an answer this time:
When you open an existing database, do you see a horizontal or vertical scrollbar as in my screenshot from post #3?

Trying to read the CBS.log file. It is very large and I don't know what I'm looking for.

Isladogs - No Vertical or horizontal scroll bars
Thanks. That was my final idea of a possible solution
Between the 2 forums, this is now approaching 90 posts.
As already suggested more than once, you should now reinstall Office 2003 and hopefully resolve this situation
If not, I would also suggest purchasing a newer version

Good luck. I'll drop out now unless anything new occurs to me

I cannot read them either, but the fact you had corrupt files is not a good sign.
That said, what happens now with your dbs?
