I really don't have any feelings about this. Short of a global conflict, the country will survive. The world that we knew is pretty much behind us. I've been designing a robotic system, along with millions os other people. The concept of working to have a better life is worn out. Trumpland will have a new to deal with it. Trump is what is best for the nation. Look what the Trump effect has already caused:
1. Hezbollah negotiated a ceasefire
2. Mexico agreed to close our southern border so the caravans will be stopped on their side of the border leaving it to be their problem to send the illegals home.
3. Canada has agreed to "help" with the northern border.
4. Trump has been nominated for the Peace prize he earned during his first term. We'll see if he gets it. If Obama could win for being President while being black, Trump certainly deserves to win for the Abraham accords and what is already transpiring now between Russia and Ukraine and with the terrorists attacking Israel.

I guess you are not a SciFi fan. Lots of stories about what happens to humans after the robots take over. None of it is pretty. It seems that humans actually need to strive to survive. Look at what happens to the wealth after the second generation. Offspring become deletants and just fritter it away. That is no way to live. Star Trek was a "utopia" of sorts and they completely ignored the concept of money by design. I only remember one episode when it came up and that was because they went back to Earth in the past and of course they didn't have any.

It's true that the cartels are in charge of most of the drug production and both the current Mexican president and her predecessor obtador are essentially socialists who have made peace with the cartels.

We certainly know who lost the election, Dems lost it. Sadly Hillary and Company sent us down this path. The bitter divorced women of our country finally had a shot at redemption. What better target, for all that hatred, than a guy that publicly brags about grabbing women's privates parts. And yet, no surprise there. Instead of uniting all democrats, she broke them into many pieces and she sent the out-of-work industrial workers to the Right, something that had never happened in the entire 20th century.
To answer the question; I know why it happened, Democrats don't have a unified message, and they will go after their own, if they sway even a little from their personal version of a Woke world, paving the way for Republicans to win key elections, repeatedly. Sadly though, too many of the Republicans in Offices currently are Right Wing Whack Jobs.

Never actually was a fan of Rush. I felt he went too far. I once heard him admit over live broadcast that he was all bombast simply to attract attention. Therefore, IF I turned on the local station that carried Rush, it was for the weather and traffic reports.
I will state this as clearly as I can. This was never a winnable contest. I support your right to have and express your views. However, if you claim that you are differentiable from Liberals, I must say that you are losing in the "clarity of message" category. With due respect, I don't read you the way you seem to think you are writing.

The same thing was said about Bill Clinton, his antics while Governor of Arkansas were legend, his disrespect of the oval office with Monica was embarrassing. But in the final analyst nobody cared, he remains a beloved member of the democrat party and is trotted out like a conquering hero whenever needed. And nobody really cares about Trump boasting about grabbing women. It's all just theater, a momentary distraction from our ordinary life.
