Coronavirus - are we all doomed?

@AccessBlaster I know you are a Trump supporter. But I can't understand what's disgusting with Hilary's comment.
President Trump did nothing to protect his people and asked to wait until Easter and promised it'll be gone by then.
The consequences of his policy was more than 85000 infection in less than two weeks.
What's disgusting with Hillary's comment?
She is rooting that he will fail, instead of being the bigger person and rolling up her sleeves by asking what can I do to help Mr. President? There are people on this forum who are rooting for the virus because that can't handle this man's style it bugs them.

If Trump was defeated and Hilary was the president and she was exactly in the same crisis,
would Trumps ask Hilary What Can I do to Help Mrs. President?

It's what Politic is all about. They attack each other. No one is better than the other one.

The people [politicians] who criticize President Trump for being a jerk cannot set the bar lower, does that make sense?

With respect to all and in the spirit of debate/devil's advocate.

BBC:
The new figures include a further 246 people in England, with patients aged between 33 and 100 years old. All of them had underlying health conditions except 13 people, who were aged 63 and over

So let's do the flu maths... Normally flu responsible for 8-9k additional deaths per season.

So yesterday number is +13 worst case.

Common theme is that normal healthy people will recover irrespective of the galling headline numbers.

I drink too much, my vice, probably will kill me but it was a choice

There are many more underlying conditions than those.
Diabetes, asthma, etc. I have also heard that resolved childhood asthma falls in that category.

I notice there is plenty of alcohol spirits on the shelf, no toilet paper but plenty of Jack.

I often wonder how much people from other parts of the country or world really know about Trump and how their opinions of him were formed. I assume most people knew very little about him prior to him running for president.

As a UK based golfer, I knew a little bit about him before he was president. Unfortunately, he hadn't covered himself in glory as a Golfer.
Golf is very much a sport of honour, and "play the ball as it lies". I had heard that Trump was a massive cheat and did not play golf in the spirit 99.9999% of golfers accept as "Par for the course"

There is an interesting book https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2...-trump-golf-commander-in-cheat-book-interview which may or may not be biased but there are too many of these stories for them to all be fiction. He really is narcissistic beyond normal.

Anybody else having internet issues? I seem to have a lot of disruptions in service the [circular arrow] going around and around. Wondering if it's phase two of the attack.

Nah, probably me just being paranoid.🖥

@Jon That is from the daily fail.
Are you sure it's not footage of a fish and chip van in Whitby on a Saturday night?

I guess the need for social distancing is out weighed for need for food in Wuhan.
