Trump himself does not want them, but some of us US citizens would like them. Problem is, were he to go poking around, he would get a warning shot, just like Ronald Regan did - only unlike RR, this one would be to his head.
 
I dont see what the problem is. Kennedy was too popular, we all know the CIA or FBI or whatever its called had to eliminate him, so, Kennedy had to go. Bang bang you're dead.

I don't think that Trump personally wants the documents. IF he did, as President, he could simply inspect them. As @AccessBlaster implies, the clamoring for these documents comes from the public doing research, but can't access them.

The President may seem all powerful and all knowing but in reality, the arena in which he has to operate is vast. No one person could possibly know everything there is to know about everything he has to make a decision on. Therefore, he has to rely on "experts". He can't always figure out that the "experts" might have ulterior motives. Trump was pretty good about digging deep on things that were important to him but either this wasn't or he dug deep enough to agree that the info needed to remain buried. I would have liked the info to have been released. There were a number of decisions like this that I would have prefered that Trump go the other way but he never asked me:(

The biggest mistake he made in his four years as President was to reauthorize the "patriots" act. That bill is so bad on so many levels the power it gives the government to pry into the affairs of citizens is terrifying.
 
At this point, the only reason the documents are still restricted is because there is info in there that will make either the CIA or the FBI or both look bad. They could redact names and locations if necessary.
 
The Republicans in the House are making the conservative radio rounds and talking about why they need new leadership in the House and Senate. Maybe I'm not the only one out there who thinks the elected Republicans are feckless pieces of dog dodo and THEY need to grow a pair (even the women) so they can actually do the things they ran on. For years they all promised to get rid of ObamaCare and we elected Trump for them and gave them both the House and the Senate and they pissed it all away by fighting with the evil orange man. John McCain will go down in history as the man who stopped the Republicans from fulfilling their promise to rid the country of ObamaCare. We won't count the other republicans who voted against the repeal. Just McCain because his vote was cast out of malice rather than for the good of the country.

Now that the Republicans control the House and can issue contempt findings; will any Democrats, like Mayorkas, ever be "arrested" by the FBI for lying to Congress? I doubt it.

The purpose of the Mar a Lago raid and the arrest of Navarro, is to created an illusion for the gullible that the Democrats are standing-up for justice. They are not. These repulsive tactics are a form of "click bait" to manipulate public perception.

Hannity had an excellent summary following the release of the Durham report. Furthermore, some Fox News commentators have now started to refer to the persecution of the Trump administration by the Democrats as a "coup" attempt. Skip the first minute of the monologue.

The same FBI that recently de-credentialed a whistleblower, for the obvious purpose of reducing his credibility from whistleblower, on grounds like: He objected to a SWAT-supported arrest of a Jan. 6th person, whose person & surroundings gave rise to absolutely no basis for using SWAT, and he himself had arrested 500 people over the course of his career similar to this person, and never once used SWAT ?

If they wanted to claim pure insubordination, they would have taken the de-credentialing action a lil' bit before right after he came out as whistleblower.

These 3-letter agencies have become SO brazen and corrupt, they do everything in plain site. Like, they think they are immune and expect no repercussions.

I do think defunding the FBI is not a totally unreasonable suggestion. Something BIG has to be done to them, something only a Republican would even at least come close to.
