Help Lost Date() Function

Can someone help in simple steps please as i am fairly new to this:

i have just upgraded pc and transfered files from disc to new pc, installed office 2007 etc.. but now my date() funtion isn't working and i i use it quite a lot in queries and forms i need to get this up and running again

how can i reinstall / repair this

Hello simon!

Open any VBA, click on TOOLS, REFERENCES, in "References" form deselect all MISSING references. OK, and try.

Sorry Swillsy, that isn't the problem. In fact it is good to leave macro security to at least Medium so that you can choose whether to run something or not. But it is indeed a reference problem and as MStef has said, going in and unchecking any MISSING reference would be the trick, UNLESS...

There aren't any Missing references. In that case go find the reference to the ACE Db Engine (if on Access 2007) and uncheck it, close and reopen.
