Do you have Lisa's email address?

I'm right here, and I had a feeling my name was getting tossed around. Here's mud in your eye!!

* picks up a hefty handful and throws it at Dan's feet, causing a great splash*

Better than actually hitting ya!!

Ok, so are we done here? Or are we just waiting for Kraj to get back to us with an argument that will change Selena's mind? While we are waiting, let me draw your attention to the "Notes from a Thoughtful Husband" thread, where I am going to post something I think the men will thoroughly enjoy.

Yes, I think we are unit J come back at me for my remarks to him, and Kraj to try and convince me the death penality is wrong.

I wouldn't hold my breath, but we will see.

I have read that book, 'Who Moved My Cheese'. I do embrace change. I embrace it with claws ripping it apart. *giggles*:D

ready for God to make judgement. [/I]

Who decided that you have that right, God, has he told you this himself?
That's certainly not the teachings of the NewTestament in the book of opt outs:rolleyes:

Well, only God can place judgment. Therefore we are putting them in a state to see God so he can properly judge them. :D

Then if you accept that they're his to judge and nobody elses

That is what I am saying. They are simply being put in a 'state' so they can meet their maker, so he can place judgment accordingly. ;)

Nope, however I can believe in the death penality and not be judged for it. For I am not inacting the actually killing. :D

No, but the State that professes to be based on good Christian principles is, in fact how can you support it when the Bible clearly states that it's wrong:confused:

You got me on that, however I will not change my mind. I will have answer to God myself for my beliefs.

Yes, but I don't follow it to a tee. There are some things in the bible I don't agree with. I do not know of anyone who follows it to the letter.

As long as I believe in God and that Jesus was his son and he died for my sins, then I'm going to heaven. I will however have to answer to him for some of my beliefs.

PS, gotta go, can finish this tomorrow.

I think you'll find it's somewhat different to that, belief is not the same as actions:eek:

I do have my beliefs, that is why I'm in battle with my internal self, b/c i have certian doubts about somethings. They are very personal and I will not get into them here.

Beliefs are stronger than actions. You can say you belive in God, but in your heart you don't. That is only between you and him.

Why not, we're here to help:)

Ok, here goes then. If psychics, divination etc are all evil, why does God grant that 'Gift' to certian people. By the bible it is wrong and your forever damned to hell. I don't understand that at all. Why give them a precious ability and then punish them for it?

Perhaps this should be another thread. I've until 8pm my time to debate this in between working on my ASP.net final class project.

The Bible was written by men, whilst some of it's teachings can be said to be the basis for good morals I wouldn't take too much of it literally, but then I'm cynical towards so called psychics anyway;)
