Do you actually understand what you write

I've already lectured Rich on his grammatical failings. Can't you learn from his mistakes ;)
You'll need to spell it out please?

The fact you are American is a good start.

Col

I'm not saying that you have any, but you do realise that you are insulting any American friend you may have, don't you?

Ok, I'm ready to read your nitpicking response

Well there's your first grammatical error, putting a question mark at the end of a non-enquiring statement. Making it non-sensical.

Is it time for your afternoon nap?

ah, I see now. You have no problem with my original statement, you are just being difficult for the sake of it.

I trust you will be equally nitpicking of your American colleagues who are grammatically challenged? I have to say, if spelling was a criteria for world domination, the USA would fail miserably judging by the US postings on these forums.

You obviously didn't read the definition posted:rolleyes:

You posted four, all of which were adjectives, all of which cannot be singular.

Next!

A West Indian could, Next!

The word "Indian" in this sentence is a noun not an adjective

Can we stop this? Your argument is doomed. ;)

Are you sure it's not a possessive noun?

Your four definitions did not include a possessive noun.

If you would like me to instruct you on possessives as well as adjectives and nouns then just let me know, I'll try and fit you in

Just because you refuse to believe the truth does not make me "pig-headed". And its nice that you class some of your American colleagues as "inherently ignorant" - I personally wouldn't have gone that far but I suppose you would know best about ignorant Yanks.

It was Rich who told me. As it came from him, I was compelled to believe it as a truth ;)

I think Col, Dan was referring to the earlier comment by Rich about how all Americans are ignorant. but then I could be mistaken. you never know
