Trump Administration Predictions

You do know that many of his cabinet, etc., are the ones that wrote project 2025, don't you?
So what? A pointless fact without substance. Look at the Democrats supporting the racist factually challenged 1619 project.

And this is a problem, why? I actually think a lot of their proposals are what the government needs to get back to being "for the people". Currently, "of the people" is the only part that is true. "By the people" hasn't been true since politics became a career path and a college major and people now don't "serve" and go home. They find a way to join the NGO money train and become multi-millionaires.

We really need to get back to the original concept of a citizen Congress. You know, people who will be governed themselves by the laws they pass. As it is, when they pass bad laws like Obamacare, they exempt them selves. And it is really hard to enrich yourself by insider trading if the pesky laws apply to you.
The ACA should have been expanded over the last 15 years.

ACA is one of the good programs, so I doubt there will be much fight against that one.

Anyone want to talk about Hillary's email? Message me on Signal. :ROFLMAO:

Sure, Hegseth’s mistake was embarrassing but fixable. With Hillary, we still don’t know how much damage was done or if we ever will.

As I predicted, MAGA DOGE will make things worse, not better.

I keep repeating myself because I know how short memories can be.

It takes both, higher taxes on the wealthiest, and reducing waste, fraud, and abuse.

Are we talking about the same program? You know, the one that tripled your out of pocket cost for insurance?
The one that provides health care for people with preexisting conditions. We're still waiting for Trump's "great" health care plan. This is an area where we see MAGA brainwashing reach its full potential.

Last I checked, the President doesn't write legislation. Congress does that. When Trump promises something like this, everyone who hears the promise should understand that he is pushing the Congress to actually do this job. To think anything else shows total ignorance of how our government works;)

But he promised it. Funny how you call the ACA, Obama Care. Can't get enough of that Jimmy Jones Cool Aid.

Sometimes I call it the ACA. The difference though is I know Obama didn't write it. My issue with Obama is the lies he told to the public regarding what the bill would do and how it would impact their lives. THAT is the reason I attribute the bad bill to Obama. If he hadn't lied to the public, the bad ACA bill may not have passed. Because clearly, men don't need coverage for pregnancy and neither do seniors. It was forced to equalize the rates so that no one paid more regardless of whether or not they needed different coverage. That has something to do with pre-existing conditions but is not the only problem with it. Luckily I only suffered for one year with the ACA and my cost tripled. It went from $4K per year to $12K and that's not what Obama promised.

Move to Massachusetts where Romney laid the groundwork for the ACA. My daughter pays $26 a month for health and $6 for dental.

Good for her. Mine pays $600 per month with an $8,000 deductible and no dental. A plan from the exchange would be no better and if you qualify based on income, your situation better not change during the year or they will sock you with penalties for being on a plan which your income got too high for.

Connecticut had Medicaid plans for the poor which used scaled premiums depending on income. Those were replaced by the ACA. I'm pretty sure that other states had similar Medicaid plans as well as high risk pools for those with expensive illnesses. The point is what happened to the middle class, which now pays triple the premium for worse coverage. That is NOT what Obama promised so stop deflecting. OR admit he deliberately lied and we can have a conversation. There is no conversation, as I have said unless you can acknowledge the lies.

And how did the Republicans make it better in the last 15 years?

The Faciest have been embolbened by MAGA. Something easily predicted.
In Texas, we can incarcerated people that are a clear and present danger. But God forbid, we take their guns.

My wife enrolled in the ACA for 8-9 months until Medicare kick in. Is was about $450 a month without vision or dental. We have a neighbor whose son is also enrolled, she says her son pays something like $24 a month, I don't know what the difference is, but it might involve assets or something along these lines, not sure. I just know we didn't get any breaks.
