That should be obvious when you read the Bible.

It's not obvious at all. If you are going to play devil's, I mean god's advocate, you should at least put some effort into the argument.

and you can be mighty grateful that god no longer demands the first born:D
Yep. With the lungs on him, there'd be no chance of hiding him in some rushes.:D

For the record, as Rabbie knows, I have the questions as a "born again" or fundamentalist Christian would answer.

I have been to Bible classes etc and have in general had a lot do with them.

They definitely see something that the rest of us don't see. There is no other motive. That I think is why it crosses all education levels.

The one part of my response that were different to a bor again is they would have used Jesus instead of God.

Australain biorn agains have one difference to their American cousins. The Australian born again has no time for the Jews and because the Jews regard Jesus at best as a footnote in history and a lot of Jew do not beleive Jesus existed. American birn agains can be quite the opposite. I think the reason is due to the Jewish power base in America and which does not exist in Australia.

As I just posted I am not playing devils but giving you the responses you would get from a born again.

But His teaching as compared to descriptions of events is easy to see.

ok, so you are playing born again's advocate. Whatever. You still haven't answered the question.

Ah yes, an eye for an eye, or is it love thine neighbour as thine own, no contradiction there eh? one must be telling the wrong story:eek:

I have answered it.

Again, you know Peter denying Christ 3 times is not God's teaching. Judas doing his deal etc.

But you are firing darts when there is a cannon available, stops 'em all

God's teachings.

There is no contradiction if neighbour loves neighbour....then eye for eye does not arise.

I can tell you are just dying to switch sides again - go for it.

No, you can figure it out. Some people live by it, that is the big hole through Christianity. Probably applies equally to Islam.
