Lesley Stahl: (24:21)
So this story about Hunter and his laptop, some repair shop found it, the source is Steve Bannon and Rudy Giuliani.

Donald Trump: (24:33)
I don’t know anything about that. I just know it’s a laptop and they haven’t-

Donald Trump: (25:41)
Of course it can be verified. Excuse me, they found a laptop. Lesley, listen.

Lesley Stahl: (25:47)
The laptop.

Donald Trump: (25:48)
Why do you say that? Even the family hasn’t… The family on the laptop… He’s gone into hiding for five days, he’s gone into hiding.

Bam. Like I said. And you are a saint for taking the time to find it! 👍👍

Who the hell does this woman think she is? Everytime Trump opens his mouth, she calls him a liar. Why does she keep inserting herself into the interview? Who cares what her opinions are? If you are going to challenge the answer to every question you ask, at least do it to every other person you interview. See how many of them come back for seconds.

The point is, Donald Trump had to leak his own interview, because 60 minutes is an arm of the Democrat Party. Their mission is to discredit the opposition.

I'm responding to your comments within the context of the article below where: "Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis bashed Vice President Kamala Harris for attempting to insert herself into the response to hurricanes Helene and Milton on Thursday."
Harris is apparently losing to Trump, even if it is not currently reflected in the polls. Harris, consequently needs to generate "face time" and foment anti-Trump hysteria to become relevant in the election process.

In journalism there is a saying, "if bleeds, it leads". Apparently Harris' attempt creating "bleeding" through hyperbolic adversarial rhetoric is failing since the media does not seem to have her in the headlines as being the Joan of Arc leading the charge to save this country from the ravages of Helene and Milton.

DeSantis and Harris have clashed in recent days after the governor declined to take a call from Harris regarding the hurricane response. He said Thursday that Harris has "no role" in the process and added that she had never attempted to call him during previous storms in Florida.

"I am working with the president of the United States. I'm working with the director of FEMA [Federal Emergency Management Agency]. We've been doing this now nonstop for over two weeks," DeSantis said Thursday.

Harris lies. Misquotes Trump's (joking) dictatorship statement. Harris lied that Trump will weaponize the justice system. It is actually the Democrats who have weaponized the justice system. Finally, Harris never answered the question of how she got "elected" to be the Democratic party presidential candidate.

Harris has no shame. Her chutzpah is is beyond belief. She just comes out and lies by (falsely) claiming that she has a secure border policy that can't be challenged.
Vice President Kamala Harris, who was tasked with overseeing immigration policy for an administration that saw record increases in illegal border crossings, now says she would put her record on the issue “up against anyone.”
She touted her past experience as a prosecutor and said, “I would put my record up against anyone in terms of the work I’ve always done and will always do to ensure we have a secure border.”
Harris flaunts her past experience as a prosecutor, but never provides any specific examples. Mark Levin had a person who was a victim of pedophile priests. According to Levin's guest, Harris never prosecuted any of those priests.

Soon after taking office, Biden tasked Harris with addressing illegal immigration as a primary piece of her vice-presidential portfolio. Harris, however, refused to reform, or even discuss, the lax enforcement policies ushered in by Biden’s day-one executive orders, insisting instead that she was focused on addressing the “root causes” of immigration — namely by doling out economic aid to Central and South American nations.

Harris called the immigration system “broken” and said that a bill proposed by the Biden-Harris administration would have created an earned pathway to citizenship for many undocumented immigrants. She then again turned the topic to the border and blamed Trump for his role in tanking the bipartisan immigration bill.
Harris did not mention deportation in this exchange. Simply implied that those who are illegal immigrants would simply get a pathway to citizenship. Whatever that is. However, in a prior speech, Harris did say that those who entered this country illegally would be deported. So she has created confusion as to what her policy would really be, should she be elected president.
To that end, Harris unveiled two sets of of planned actions on border enforcement and immigration reform. On enforcement, Harris pledged to continue Biden administration rules to bar undocumented border crossers from receiving asylum, as well as a promise to arrest, deport and impose a five-year ban on migrants who have crossed "between ports of entry."
So will she let illegal immigrants enter at the ports of entry and/or illegally flown into this country?

Bill Whitaker asked Harris: "Was it a mistake to loosen the immigration policies as much as you did?
Harris responded: "It’s a long-standing problem, and solutions are at hand,” Harris said. “And from Day One, literally, we have been offering solutions.” That is an evasive non-answer. So for nearly four years, Harris has not "fixed" the broken system. And the unstated solutions by Harris would not have stopped illegal immigration but simply legitimized it. Meaning the illegal immigrants would still come.

"Columbus: the guy who showed up without papers, claimed the place as his own, and somehow avoided getting deported. Classic immigrant move! But if you hate Columbus, you might be a bigot, right?"

Harris' remarks are a classic case of applying both 21st century morals and wokism. In the 15th century it was normal to, ra**, pillage, and conquest. Not only was it normal but every culture participated, be it the American natives, Europeans, and Arabs. Not to also mention that native American participated human sacrifice and cannibalism. The progressive left never mentions the "evil" side of native American culture and Black culture of that time period (1500AD).

The cartoon below came out before Bret Baier interviewed Kamala Harris. Based on her inability to answer any questions, this cartoon seems even more appropriate. One of the more egregious non-answer evasive responses concerned the law. Harris stated that she would follow the law. That was a blatant evasion. First, the Biden/Harris administration has not been following the law. Second, the law is subject to change, so how can you follow something that is as yet unstated? She is supposed to be telling the voters what she would do and she is not.

She is supposed to be telling the voters what she would do and she is not.
If she told voters what she would do, NO ONE would vote for her. Just look at how she did as herself in the 2020 primary. You'd think she would have done better given that her policies are very similar to Bernie's but she was so unlikable that she couldn't get any traction. Just before the Biden/Trump debate which took Biden off the table, the Dems were trying to figure out how to get away with dumping the 'black woman' from the ticket without arousing the ire of those who check boxes.

In Bret Baier's interview with Kamala Harris a lot of time was spent on illegal immigration. Harris lied when she claimed that she was working on a solution to a "broken" immigration system. The most obvious fact is that Biden/Harris have actually opened the border to illegal immigrant, which means they have done nothing substantive.

The Fox News pundits have been calling the Biden/Harris efforts a "failure". Actually, Biden/Harris have succeeded. They are not trying to "fix" immigration to prevent illegal immigration which is what the public expects. Biden/Harris wanted an open border. They have succeeded.
