I never have understood this...

I am assuming you mean mad as in upset, and not crazy. ;)

As I stated before this is not an black and white issue. For crime of passions, I feel they may be able to be rehabilitated. However serial killers, and out and out murders should be put to death.

Each situation should be weighed. I am not for putting innocent men to death. If they can be rehabilitated, then by all means do it. If not, don't waste space and money by keeping them alive.

I think we should take the confessed killers and put them in a 8' x 10' cell and feed them mush for the rest of their lives or put them all on an island and let them work it out amongst themselves.... No tv, etc. The reason being is that I feel my only obligation is to try and prevent them from killing again.

Why keep them alive?????

I always knew you had a kind side to you :p You just have to search for it under that hard exterior  ;)

If I want to teach my kids that life is precious and sacred and that killing is the 'most wrong' thing we can ever do, then what kind of message will they get if I get up a yell a big atta-boy when the evening news reports they executed another prisoner?

For me, while there is life then there is hope. Keep them alive and make them contribute. I'm not saying release them ever, but they could be made to labor for 6/7 days a week. A kind of earthly purgatory if you will.

I'm actually one of the most tenderhearted people there are. So :p :p

Well don't think of it as killing. Think of it as us sending them to God a bit earlier for his judgment to be placed on them.

I think human experimention would be good. Stop using poor innocent animals to do experimention on and use criminals. :D They can contribute that way.

Also, for ogran donation would be good. If they happen to die durning the heart removal, then oooopppss.

I am fully for it due to I had a dear friend of mine murdered in cold blood. The Pet Store he worked in was robed and he was shot dead in the chest. He wasn't fighting or anything. They did it for shear meaness.

How about the sick and the elderly, why waste money on them and why is the society that created these evil doers not put on trial and then executed.
You live in the most violent society on the planet and as they say, violence breeds violence.
Whaty actually gives the state the right to commit murder?

Hum... Unique perspective. Except that a fried corpse kinda screams 'killed'

That is not the same thing and you know that.

We as citizens who vote for it.

Nope, not killed, we simply converted them to the form that is necessary to go to God for proper judgement.

That was rather profound  (IMHO anyway)...

That'd be different to see on the news; Today in Texas, Joe Doe, the confessed killer was converted to a state of death... In other news....

.

No but it costs money to keep them, that seems to be the prime objection here.

We as citizens who vote for it

I see, so citizens can murder citizens

19Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

20Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

21Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Why don't you trust his judgement then?

They are worth spending money on. They have not killed anyone. They could contribute to society one day.

If you put it like that, I suppose so.

I am fully for it.

That's odd, your state department has been complaining about the Chinese carrying out these dastardly acts:confused:

I'm not fully aware of that situation. Arn't they taking newborns and killing them as a form of birth control?

That is not the same as I spoke about for criminals.
