The Covid cure has arrived!

I thought you could get anything from Amazon? Aren't they using drones for delivery in pilot programs?

I think that people who are terrified of catching COVID and who don't believe that being vaccinated protects them, should all stay home. Why should I stay home because YOU are afraid? What if YOU give ME the flu? I could die from flu. There is no therapeutic that cures the flu. There are therapeutics that have been shown to cure COVID. So, I have a better shot at surviving COVID than the flu.

I had my first ever flu jab last Friday, and then a Covid booster on Monday. Felt below par for the last 6 days and my arm was 5x more sore from the booster than in the previous 2 Covid jabs.

Do any of you guys feel a little rough or listless after a flu jab?

I'm pretty sure it's drug companies that have developed the potential vaccine(and who will reap the rewards)
You are correct, covid is an opportunity for pharmaceutical companies to cash in on a lot of money and proove to the world that they are very relevant

As reported earlier, I had my booster in one arm and my flu shot (high-dose a.k.a. "elder dose") in the other arm, about 30 minutes apart. The shoulder that got the flu shot was SLIGHTLY warmer than the booster arm. Both were a little sore for 24 hours, then all was well.

Mine were 3 days apart and I felt a little off-colour for about 6 days in total. I reckon I was ok again about 3 days after my booster.

Any predictions when the pandemic will be over? Getting a bit fed up with it all now!

When 100% of the world population has been vaccinated. The portion of the public that refuses to be vaccinated will be scapegoated as the reason why it never ended, conveniently.

I think it will fade if Republicans win over the next couple years - by fade, I mean society will begin again to rationally view it in proportion to other normal daily risks like driving a car, getting the flu, etc.

If Democrats remain more or less in power, I'd just guess they stretch it on for at least another 2-3 years, or until as soon as they can fully leverage the climate change thing that they are now starting to gear up major for.

What about the vrius itself? When will that lose its strength, or will it gain in strength?

So far we have a SINGLE reported death due to Omicrom. I don't know what country but it is not the US. Why are we locking down the world again? Why are people being dragged off of planes? Why are people being sent to internment camps? Why are we masking up again? Is it to help the flash mobs robbing expensive stores?

I refuse to play bridge at the bridge clubs because they are requiring vaccine passports. I just wrote a letter to the ACBL (American Contract Bridge League) which probably won't be posted insisting that to play in person everyone needs to show proof of a current flu vaccine because I am much more likely to die from flu than from COVID given that studies are finally seeing the light of day that show that therapeutics that have been used for years for other diseases are effectively treating COVID in the early stages as well as the very expensive new treatments like monoclonal antibodies. And we have no treatment for the common flu

We've already had numerous posts that Covid will be a never ending crises. Here is another reinforcing monologue to that effect. What is also interesting with Tucker Carlson's remarks, he missed tossing-in Fox News gratuitous remarks that illegal immigrants are still being allows to enter the US unfettered while law abiding citizens are increasingly having their liberties criminalized in the name of stiffing the spread of Covid.
Marc Siegel, M.D. (if I remember correctly) of Fox News made a very compelling observation. He noted that recently released news concerning the Omicron variant noted that while it was more infectious, it was also less lethal. The White House could have issued a "good news" press release highlighting this fact, instead the White House and many Democratic political leaders essentially ignored the "good news" aspect and took the opportunity to promote the existence of Omicron as "devastating" news to provide them with continued opportunities to impose evermore draconian restrictions. As Tucker and others on this forum have noted, Covid is being used as an excuse to kill democracy.
