The Covid cure has arrived!

Having too many choices leads to confusion. It's much better if you can grocery shop, bank, get your eyes checked and new tires all in one place, it reduces freedom confusion. It makes your life more convenient. :D

A good example is cable TV, the more channels we have the fewer choices we perceive. In fact, you might watch reruns of old programs instead of the 100s of new programs at your fingertips.

That assumes that you even get to watching something. ;) ;)
We end-up endlessly scrolling through the countless number of shows available and arguing over which show to potentially watch, but then moving on to the next possiblity because we can't agree. When bedtime comes, we turn the TV off without having watched anything!!!

Your post raises an economic question, that I'll explore one of these days. Basically, one of the theories of capitalism is people will buy a product that is perceived to be the cheapest for the value. Consequently "bad" products should eventually "fail" as in no longer being available.

When you go to the grocery store there are many similar products available. Consider randomness. People many times can not exactly remember what they bought previously so they randomly select a similar product. These leads to the question that needs to be evaluated at some future time: How many products actually continue to owe their existence simply based on random selection and not consumer preference?:unsure:

I recently tried a new brand of ice cream. The flavor looked like a knock off of Cherry Garcia which is a Ben and Jerry's product that I love but don't buy any more. It was really good. Now I don't have to deprive myself of my favorite ice cream flavor just because Ben and Jerry offend me. And the new brand is $2 less per pint so it is a big savings also. Win, win.

I would also like to rid myself of T-Mobile, CitiBank, American Express, Amazon, and a dozen other woke companies but changing my phone service would cost me money (I have a fabulous grandfathered plan that I'm not prepared to give up) and canceling credit cards is a PITA and would cause my credit rating to take a hit. So, I cancel the optional companies. If I never ate ice cream again, I would probably be better off but there are hundreds of options available so every once in a while, I try a new flavor from a new brand.

I don't know if it was Tucker or Mark Levin this week who was talking about Verison, AT&T, and T-Mobil all preventing Trump's people from using text messaging in the weeks leading up to the election and then there was Google that prevented the campaign from using gmail to raise money!!!!!!!!!!!

I end up spending more time trying to find what to watch than actually watching the thing!

The Covid pandemic is losing its oomph and becoming less virulent. Yet the fear mongers, instead of viewing this as good news, continue to stoke the flames of fear and hysteria
I wonder who is gaining from the fear of Covid?

I prefer walmart, but my wife is pretty good at saving money using special bargains at safeway. Sometimes we pay $20 for $50 worth of groceries

Yeah starring Tom Hanks no doubt
Lol, the future generation need to be told the story of covid, from various perspectives like

1. Politicians perspective(this is further subdivided)
2. Pharmaceutical companies perspective
3. Citizens' perspective.

You can add yours to the list

Lol, the future generation need to be told the story of covid,
Future generations will be living with Covid-19 if politicians have their way. It's a great tool to control the masses and possibly curb over population by reducing sperm counts as a side effect.

Solves global warming!!
In a sense it ties back to: "Sometimes information is distorted by the media to make people believe a lie as the truth" by @oleronesoftwares.
In this case, the obvious solution to global warming (assuming that it is an anthropogenic effect) is population management which is hardly ever mentioned by the media/or and the politicians as a solution.
