It happens occasionally and probably when something is being done to the servers whereever this is hosted. Just be patient people. It does clear up after a little while.

Unless there's a scooter ride scheduled from essex and/or someone's heater goes on the blink, then there seems to be a pretty high quality maintained all day

I agree - very irritating as that's my lunch hour when I can really browse the forums. But it has been getting much slower in the last 2 weeks at all times. Not just the forum pages but the other pages as well.
