No. He was impeached because he asked the Ukrainian President to look into Burisma and Hunter. You are remembering the video of Biden bragging that HE withheld funds so that the Ukrainians would fire the prosecutor looking into Burisma. Apparently withholding US funds for personal gain isn't a problem when a Democrat does it. It's even OK to brag about it to your donors if your name is Biden.
Back in civics class in 1977, I posited that it was LBJ, and at some level, I still wouldn't be surprised.
Based on him getting away with the big lies.
Two wrongs don't make a right. Defending Trump, by bringing up what others are doing wrong is seriously weak. But that is all you guys have.

You said Trump was impeached for withholding money from Ukraine. That didn't happen. It was Biden who withheld the money from Ukraine. Feel free to simply ignore the video evidence. Not only are you making up lies about Trump, but you are even attributing Biden's actions to him. That's really rich.

Basically being out of US politics and just an observer, I can't quite see the point in arguing which is the most dishonest, Trump or Biden.
Which of the following would you give the house keys to if you go away for a month?
Bill Clinton, the Bush twosome, Reagan, Johnson, Kennedy, Ford, Nixon.............maybe more, but I can't remember them.
Looking in from outside it does almost appear that honesty, or regard for the law aren't a prerequisite to be POTUS but I may be mistaken.
Just as in the UK, intelligence isn't necessary to be PM. In fact when the party elects a leader here, they always go for the most stupid.

WHAT LIE? Look at the damn video of Joe bragging to his donors about how he forced Ukraine to fire the prosecutor who was investigating Burisma. That's what prompted Trump to ask Ukraine to investigate. Get your facts from actual news once in a while.

I have to disagree here. While it is a necessary part of the job for the President to not always tell us the truth, Trump is reviled by both Dems and Republicans for saying the "quiet" things. You know, the thoughts that come into our minds which don't come out our mouths because we have filters. Trump says what he is thinking and then doesn't apologize for it even when it sounded stupid. Just because the media says he lies every time he opens his mouth, you might want to look a little deeper. When Obama told us "if we liked our doctor, we could keep him and if we liked our plan, we could keep it" when pushing the public to accept Obamacare, he was telling outright lies. The GSA had already told him that Obamacare would increase the cost of health care and force insurance companies to completely rework their plans. This lie was told with malice because he wanted Congress to pass Obamacare and there was too much public outcry against it. Even Pelosi's most famous quote comes from this episode - "you have to pass the bill to know what's in it". When Trump asks Ukraine to look into Burisma, he isn't lying. He's actually doing his job as President. When Trump says the crowd was the biggest ever, it is an opinion and quite different from telling the public that Obamacare will save the average family $2500 rather than the truth. The media can't tell the difference between an actual lie that will hurt the public and an opinion about drivel such as crowd sizes.

A quick Google search will show Trump froze 400 million in military aid to Ukraine, money allocated by congress. Personally I have no issues with it. Freeze all overseas spending, atleast temporary until we get a full accounting of where the money is spent. Otherwise it's just money laundering.

It was proven, and the Senator Suck-ups ignored it. Even the Wall Street Journal and AP reported it.
