What a pity you lot don't have the acumen to use them wisely

When I visisted a few years back the place was over run with asians, so I guess the country will soon be running efficiently and the "Aussies" will all be tourist guides.

Didn't the US independence lead to the setting up of Australia.

A disaster all round.

Hence my comment about the Abos and the American War of independence.;)

What's the connection?

Ok... Rich implied that now you brits enjoy the finer things in life like kiwi lamb and butter, And I replied that more brits are probably more likely stuffing their faces with the likes of meat slurry and jelly tots - ?

Or was it I that mis-read the kiwi lamb and butter remark?

I had a chinky last night actually, there's no need to use an American expression to get large portions anyway, they come that way naturally:cool:

I guess Ken was trying to insult our food, which is a bit rich coming from a yank, even if I have had a few decent meals over there, how about you Ken what have you eaten over here?

Brian

I wasn't aware that an actual visit was a prerequisite to forming an opinion?
