White Lives Don't Matter - apparently

Civil Rights as a concept has been corrupted. Originally Civil Rights was about achieving "equality". Martin Luther King, in his "I Have a Dream Speech" proclaimed: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." (emphasis added). Today, "equality" is not the objective anymore for achieving Civil Rights. Instead, the objective is now to use race (the color of their skin) under the concept of "equity". King would be very disappointed.

Biden through his inaugural address and his recent Executive Orders has essentially legitimized this race based "equity" approach and made it official government policy.

I saw a good explanation today of how absurd the current climate is. It said if you are anti-white you are anti-racist. It was something like that. Bit of an oxymoron if you ask me. I probably got it wrong but it sounded convincing when explained on YouTube!

A couple of months ago we saw mobs marching through expensive neighborhoods demanding that the occupants give their homes to the marchers. I think they should take over a couple of Joe's houses. He has some to spare. I only have one. Then they should go to Bernie's and Nancy's places. Nancy has a refrigerator that cost more than my car. How is that fair?

Why to people nod their heads sagely and go along with this joke?

What you need to bear in mind is that an American refrigerator is roughly the size of a small UK bedroom, so naturally it costs a lot. Why is it a problem how expensive it is? Surely that's just jealousy on your part.

No, it is not jealousy, it is hypocrisy. If you earned the money, you can buy what you want. No problem. The issue, is that the (government) people who want to manage how you live don't feel that the "rules" they impose on you along with calling you immoral if you do not follow them; do not apply to them.

Newsom slammed by restaurateurs forced to close down for Covid rules while LA’s elite continue dining out

A breaking news example: John Kerry defends taking private jet to accept climate award in Iceland

It's sad to think most people in the UK have bedrooms only 26 cubic inches, bummer.

Justice Department drops Yale admissions discrimination suit
The government accused Yale in October of violating civil rights laws because it “discriminates based on race and national origin in its undergraduate admissions process, and that race is the determinative factor in hundreds of admissions decisions each year.” The investigation stemmed from a 2016 complaint by the New Jersey-based Asian American Coalition for Education coalition against Yale, Brown and Dartmouth.
Another example of the Biden administration essentially "legitimizing" (murky) racist practices. The Biden administration is promoting "equity" over "equality". That translates into advocating that decisions based on race (identity politics) are "legitimate". To translate that into Orwellian terminology, "Racism is acceptable to fight racism". Originally the Civil Rights movement was about achieving "equality". To paraphrase Martin Luther King, he looked forward to the day when decisions would be based on a persons character, not the color of their skin. Another example that "White lives don't matter". In this case, add Asian.

As an editorial aside; this lawsuit by the Justice Department appears to have been dropped without much fanfare. Yet when the Justice Department attempted to drop the unjustified legal actions against Michael Flynn, the judge (Emmet Sullivan) refused to allow the Justice Department to do that. Different courts and different circumstances, nevertheless you have to wonder.

I see...I guess I need to find the owner's manual...
It's weird, though, I think of every opportunity I took advantage of in life: School, reading books, experimenting, community college, loans, hard work and consistent, professional behavior at jobs ... that provided money for a car and house. I don't remember people of any race being excluded from those privileges? I'm quite sure they were open to all! But I do remember having to work for them, and failing plenty of times - every single time could be traced back to my own personal failure, and in none of those times did I blame other races.

The confusing thing about Col is he can't decide if he's the most hateful person alive or suddenly woke - it vascillates, I'm guessing, between brands of Scotch

It's just bout getting a rise out of us really. His shtick is getting you to react, but then isn't that everyone's? The more reactions the more endorphins the bigger the high, and so on and so forth.

Seems that Biden is proposing to have a Black racist run the US Civil Rights Division of the Justice Department. So Biden is bringing into government Black racists to officially use the police powers of the State to promote Black supremacy, but publicly proclaims that White supremacists are lurking in every nook and cranny of this country and need to be expunged.

Biden Justice Department Pick Opposed Enforcing Civil Rights Laws Against Blacks
Clarke's nomination to an influential Justice Department post will test the Biden administration's commitment to "equity-based" policy making, which purportedly promotes racial justice by giving special attention to marginalized groups. Clarke's professional history suggests a staunchly ideological approach to civil rights enforcement where touchstone civil rights laws are applied to advantage some demographic groups but not others.
In College, Biden’s Pick For Top Civil Rights Lawyer Argued Blacks Are The Superior Race
While in college, Clarke advocated for Afrocentric racist theories of black superiority and hosted then defended a notorious antisemite. Even more recently, she endorsed Tamika Mallory when the head of the Women’s March faced documented charges of antisemitism and support for racial hatemonger Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam.

That's just silly Steve. You know that black people can't be racist:)

The beauty products company Ulta Beauty had a blatant racist TV ad. "Beauty Without Limits Celebrates Black History Month" (not the name of the ad), Of course, this is "Black History" month, so Ulta is virtue signaling by jumping on the woke band-wagon.
"The Black experience can’t be confined to just one month, but we’re using the opportunity to shine a spotlight on the influence and impact of the community—to celebrate Black founders, creators, present and future leaders."
Can White and Asian women now wear Black face as a homage?
