Coronavirus - are we all doomed?

It's just sensationalism, people getting in on there the act as it were. There's no way any sensible person would say:- Oh! we need to spray the streets to kill the virus, let's employ hundreds of drones! The only way it would make any sense at all is if the Drones were autonomous and the whole process was done without human intervention nothing else makes any sense. That will come but we are years off it I reckon...

Is that orange juice? [No need to answer, I know what it is.]

@Uncle Gizmo
Not years off. It has already come.
SkyNet is here.

Unfortunately Tokyo Olympic is canceled. We had 10,000 drones dancing and performing a night show, without human intervention.
All, controlled by K as a last job before Fugako starts operating.

You want sanitizing the streets? Just give them a google map.

To have an idea about what I'm talking about, it's what china did with 1000 drones.
The same idea, but 1/10 of Tokyou Olympic.

BTW Japan and South Korea really need to be congratulated on their COVID-19 approach. Its the only model that relied on common sense instead of faulty WHO and China data. 🍺🍺

Not unfortunately lately.
South Korea has kept its 10K infections for the last two weeks, and doesn't show a growth for the past few weeks. They seem to be in a better condition than us.
Although we are still down in the list (6000), Japan has a considerably increase in daily infections. We had around 10 to 30 infections per day. But now it's changed to 100 to 200 new cases daily, mostly 20 to 30 years old patients.
The young generation doesn't follow the guide lines and don't listen what the health organization is asking them to do.
They know they are young and even if get infected, will be back to their normal life in 2-3 weeks.
Because infection mostly is seen between the young population, death count is still 99.
I think during the next week, Japan's total cases will be more than S.Korea

There seems to be at least 2 variants of the covid strain, the China version and the Euro version. Living on the west-coast of the US (California) our family feels certain we have been exposed and recovered early on from the China strain. While our brothers and sisters on the east-coast have been exposed to the more deadly euro strain. I would love to be tested to see if this is true.

No kidding. After the terrorist strike on the World Trade Center (9/11) we became the "victims" of the Patriot Act to "protect" use from terrorists threats. Now the pandemic is being used as a convenient incident to promote some more social engineering, such as tracking where people are going and who they are in contact with.

Just this morning, a person who works for a drone manufacturing company, was dismissing (with repugnance) that drones would ever be used to "look inside people's bedrooms". His asserted that the drones would only be used to ensure social distancing complaisance. I guess, he has never heard of "mission creep". (the Patriot Act being one example.) Also, he used the phrase "whatever it takes", which is ominous.

In another clip, a person claimed that drones would not be video taping what they observe. We know from prior incidences, that officials do peek and leak. To extend this a bit further, drones may be used under the auspices of a search warrant. GPS devices and cell phones are increasingly becoming "targets" of the investigation process.

SkyNet is here.

And don't forget your immunity card when you are finally allowed to travel. You will need that to leave your house, but not needed to vote.

@Steve R.
You're worrying about a drone peeking your bedroom?
Give me 7 minutes and I show you where the drones are heading. @Uncle Gizmo was talking about without human intervention .
But drones have past that line. They are AI now.
Watch full screen please.

Think about what he says at the end.
"You can target your enemy with a hashtag."
Well, tell the dornes, #moslem,#over20,#male and send them to a city.
It is not future. It is present.

There is some talk that the euro strain came to new york before the west coast case.
There is also some reporting questioning the immunity factor. They are studying 2nd occurences to determine if it is a re-infection or if the existing virus is being re-activated.

Since net neutrality changes were made and Cell providers and Isp's were given the right to sell your data warrants are not neccesarily needed anymore. Third party vendors can aggregate what they purchase and sell that info to anyone. For instance Bounty Hunters can purchase location information based on cell data even down to what aisle in the supermarket you were standing in.

Completely agree.

If you catch one, does that mean you can then also catch the other? Be interesting to know that.

A precursor of what is to come in our evolving surveillance state?

Pine Knoll Shores officials issue self-quarantine, registration orders

According to the announcement, self-quarantine requirements will commence at 11:59 p.m. Sunday for all residents and non-residents arriving for overnight stays. These people will be required to remain in their homes and not receive any visitors other than immediate family.

Additionally, anyone subject to self-quarantine will be required to register by emailing Police Chief Ryan Thompson at rthompson@townofpks.com or by calling the chief at 252-247-2474.

Those registering will need to provide Chief Thompson with the following information:

  • A list of names of everyone arriving in Pine Knoll Shores.
  • The address where they will be staying.
  • Where they’re coming from.
  • The expected length of the stay.
  • A phone number where they can be reached.
Individuals exempt from self-quarantine requirements are those traveling for crucial medical attention, those escaping a life-threatening emergency, those receiving emergency service from first responders and those employed in essential jobs.

Welcome to the future.

speaking of precursors, the state of capitalism is in itself a precursor of what is to come, from a truthful standpoint.

Yesterday, I was walking by the TV and I incidentally heard a female reporter ask Trump to explain some Covid-19 response deficiencies that an Inspector General had found. Trump asked her who the Inspector General was. She could NOT answer!!

It is good that Trump did not immediately respond to the question, but instead asked her to explain the source of her information (the report).

Journalism has sunk to a new low were a person attempting to push an adversarial question to make Trump look bad, is not even prepared to cite the report that she allegedly read. Another gross example of fake news.
The avalanche of stupid reporter questions continues. The other day, a reporter, alluded to the current oil market as an obvious lead in to an adversarial question. Trump asked the reporter what the price of oil was. The reporter could not answer.

At today's briefing Trump was asked why he didn't act sooner. He responded that at the time the reporter was referencing there were zero deaths from the Covid-19 virus in the US. So he went on to respond that it would be inappropriate to close the country on so limited data. Anyway, she attempted to press on, despite the obvious impropriety of the accusations.

Here's someone who obviously won't mind being stuck at home. His hobby is unique and his work is INCREDIBLE!

Actually he said
“So, give me the name of the inspector general?”
I've read about it a few times and I couldn't tell you the name but that does not negate the report.

He said Jan. 17th. The first positive test was Jan. 20th. Closing the country doesn't do :poop: . There were still 400k people arriving after his ban." Acting sooner" covers a lot more than banning travel or closing the country. It means preparing, coming up with a strategy, gathering supplies. Does someone need to die before you start doing that? https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/04/us/coronavirus-china-travel-restrictions.html
It only takes one match to light a fire. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/12/us/coronavirus-biogen-boston-superspreader.html

A friend of mine went to India to visit his parents 3 weeks ago. He said he was not checked for anything when leaving and returning. No temperature, No questions. Scary.
