How can the Democrat politicians rail against finding fraud and waste? Do they want fraud and waste in our government programs? But the sad thing is that the people in the crowds are not asking any questions regarding what the DOGE team has been finding. Can they be so stupid? Or are the politicians wrong and the public isn't as stupid as they think they are? The progressives who post here are a good example. So far, they have not been even the slightest bit upset about the findings of the DOGE team and are going along with the politician's assertions that Musk has overstepped his bounds. Apparently DOGE should never have found the fraud or waste So, I think we know the answer. We now have MDS in addition to TDS.

It is kind of curious how none of them seem to have an issue with it at least not enough to post about. I for one try to see both sides I do not see T or M as perfect by a long shot and I often express same

The Biden administration made it the business of government. Trump is simply undoing that and going back to the original Title 9 law which protects women's sports. Are you really OK with men beating up on women in one on one sports? Or knocking them out in team sports? How about men in the women's dressing rooms. How about your 14 year old daughter being forced to change in a room with a teenage boy or give up sports?

No one ever complained about the idiots who fought with the cops or committed actual vandalism getting prosecuted. But even most of those received excessive sentences. Compare to all the BLM and Antifa rioters who burned buildings and cop cars and didn't even get arrested.

The FBI will be paying dearly for this travesty of justice. "I vas just following orders" didn't cut it in Nuremburg and it won't cut it in this case. Those agents knew they were doing wrong and they followed the orders anyway.

So you think FBI agents should be punished for helping prosecute violent rioters. How about the jurors who convicted them?

The DOGE team has not made any formal findings. They claimed that there is massive fraud, but no reports have been issued, let alone prosecutions.

This is fiscal responsibility theater, where they attack small government programs and ignore large ones. If you are not talking about Social Security, Medicare or Defense, you are not serious about spending control.

You know why. Men are happy to compete against women. Even in golf, men have a huge advantage. That's why women get to play from the women's T's. However a trans women presents herself as a man, so she can't play from the Women's T's. But a Man playing as a Women would technically get to play from the Women's T's. How do you think that would fly with the men? They would be screaming like stuck pigs. It is the long game where men have the advantage in golf. In the short game, the skills are fairly equal since strength doesn't come into play. But allowing a man presenting as a women to play from the women's T's would give that player a huge advantage. The men would never stand for it. Black men got the vote before Women did and Black men probably got admitted as members to elite country clubs before women did also

I suspect that most competitive women's sports associations would prohibit trans women if allowed to decide without government interference. A conservative or liberal should be objecting to the government interference. Let the people decide as individuals, not the government.

I strongly disagree with that. Parity in prosecution is the only way the system is fair, and the system must be fair, if it is not why have it?

I think I'm done with this thread, unless someone targets me with a question or statement that I have an 'easy' answer or opinion for, because we just fundamentally disagree on basic premises, and without agreement on those, we're just basically throwing our opinions back and forth.

Some think parity in prosecution and selective prosecution are important topics, others do not and wish strongly that we do not discuss blm riots
Some think pardons or commutations aren't appropriate seemingly no matter what, other think they can be appropriate.
Some want to categorize everything nominally physical contact under 'assaulting cops', others would rather differentiate between degrees of criminality.

I'm an atheist, but OH MY GOD! There you are, inverting the logic. YES, people should be punished for transgressions, but we were pointing out that the Biden administration didn't think so, and therefore unfairly ignored property-damaging riots without any visible level of law enforcement.
If you don't see the relevance to this argument about "lawfare" - selective enforcement focused on Republicans in this case - then you are blind.
